VACCINE MANDATE EXPANDING
JBS Australia will now require all angus cattle entering their feedlots to be pre-vaccinated with a Bovilis MH+IBR jab to ‘prevent Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD)’.
This policy has been in effect since September 2021 for some NSW feedlots, specifically Prime City, Caroona, Riverina and Yambinya.
Now, it is expanding to all feedlots, including to those in Queensland for the first time ever, starting from January 1, 2026.
Under the plan, all cattle must be vaccinated with Bovilis MH+IBR. They say this is to ‘control BRD’, which is ‘a cause of sickness and mortality’ in cattle entering feedlots.
The vaccine is administered on-farm, and up to 6 months before delivery.
“In our NSW feedlots, vaccination has helped us reduce respiratory issues, maintain consistent performance and reduce antibiotic usage,” said JBS General Manager, Edwin Cooke.
“We’re now mandating pre-vaccination of angus cattle entering our Queensland feedlots commencing in January 2026 due to the results we’ve seen.”
Brahman cross cattle have traditionally dominated Queensland feedlots, but JBS says market trends are increasingly favouring angus and other British-bred cattle due to their “feedlot efficiency” and “stronger market performance”.
Meanwhile, in light of this news, angus prices have continued their downward trajectory, with several southern feedlots not issuing quotes this week and grids down 10-20c.
The move follows the first ever “breakthrough” mRNA vaccine for foot-and-mouth disease being created for cattle, sheep, pigs and goats being announced in August.

The nanoparticle-based mRNA vaccine was developed by a team drawn from the NSW Department of Primary Industries and biotech firm Tiba Biotech, with significant financial support from Meat & Livestock Australia.

Indeed, the push has been strong, and highlights just how this is a unified, international effort – once again driven by offshore entities that nobody elected.
Unfortunately for the ‘experts’, many Australians have laughed at their plans – expressing that they will eat more meat just in rejection to the agenda.
So, what will they do? They will force the change.
Mass vaccination and ‘disease outbreaks’ will ensure the livestock and poultry industries are destroyed, to path the way for a ‘solution’ they will offer.
What is that ‘solution’, you ask? Fake meat.

They will say this shift is ‘necessary to save the planet’, not only from ‘climate change’, but also from the emerging poverty caused by imploded ecosystems.
