The neurotoxin given another green light.
NEW REGIONS TO GET FLUORIDE
Toowoomba Regional Council has approved the addition of fluoride to drinking water supplied to four southern communities, despite opposition from three councillors.
The council has approved fluoridation of the drinking water supply for Cambooya, Greenmount, Nobby and Clifton, ending a debate over whether fluoride dosing should form part of the new Greenmount Water Treatment Plant.

The decision was made at Council’s Ordinary Meeting on 21 July, when councillors resolved to include a fluoride dosing plant in the Greenmount project and add fluoride to the treated water supplied to the four communities. Queensland Health is to be advised of the decision.

While the council approved construction of the new treatment plant, the fluoridation component was opposed by councillors Bill Cahill, James O’Shea, and Edwina Farquhar.

The remaining councillors supported adding fluoride, bringing the new facility into line with the existing approach at the Mt Kynoch Water Treatment Plant.
For Counsellor Cahill, the issue is principally one of individual choice and the appropriate role of local government. Residents connected to a reticulated water supply are currently able to lobby councils over the option of choosing whether fluoride is present in their taps.
With these newly formed communities not having much of a structure as of yet, they – in turn – are lacking an avenue to speak up for themselves. Leaving it solely to council.
Responsibility of fluoridation was transferred to Queensland’s local governments in 2012, following the rollback of the previous state-wide mandate.

The arrangement has resulted in different councils taking different approaches to fluoridation, with proponents of a return to state control arguing that a consistent statewide policy would be more appropriate for a public health measure.
The argument in Toowoomba is about how perceived ‘public health benefits’ should be balanced against individual autonomy – and who should have the authority to decide.
Unfortunately, for those looking to build their lives in these new communities, fluoride dosing will be incorporated into the Greenmount Water Treatment Plant.
Council’s next steps include progressing the plant contract and the fluoride dosing scope, while advising Queensland Health and publishing the decision.
A project itself that is moving ahead. Council announced in July that the tender process for the design and construction of the treatment plant had been completed, with the Chief Executive Officer authorised to finalise and execute the contract.

For those communities, the council’s decision means fluoride will form part of their future treated water supply – as another region falls to the mass dosing agenda.
For decades, Australians have been subjected to systematic poisoning through fluoridated tap water, as the truth about the neurotoxin continues to be exposed across the world.
There are no valid reasons to justify the continued use of this chemical.
BATTLE FOR OUR WATER
Fluoridation has been widespread in Australia for generations now, but it is only since the turn of the century that the fight against these programs has heated up.
Across the country, informed residents have been campaigning against fluoridation in favour of a system that respects the wishes of each community on a local level.
As mentioned, Queensland had success in eliminating state-mandated dosages, and many of the stories we see from residents fighting back has been seen in this state.
For instance, last year, the Queensland region of Gympie voted to remove fluoridation from public water supplies after almost two decades of having the neurotoxin added.

We have also witnessed other states form communities to push back against this agenda, despite being up against the full force of directives issued by the Cult of Scientism.
WA, for example, has one of the more extreme fluoridation state policies – covering 92 per cent of the population. The other 8%, including Bunbury, continue to remain in the minority.

But the tide is slowly turning, particularly in the United States.
In recent years, we have seen multiple states ban the use of fluoride in public water supplies, as more evidence emerges showing the harms this practice is causing.

Unfortunately for residents inCambooya, Greenmount, Nobby, and Clifton, they do not find themselves in the winning camp – and will be subjected to the plan.
I wonder if Toowoomba’s new plant will get the dosage correct, and not find themselves in the position others have found when miscalculating their levels.

Let’s hope Toowoomba doesn’t fall into these categories as well.
Queenslanders are in a very unique position compared to the rest of the nation, who are largely mandated everywhere, so there is time to reverse this as the years go on.
Well done to the counsellors who stood up and voiced their opposition to the plan, and all of those who fight for the rights of each community to have their concerns expressed.
The fight against fluoridation is one of the toughest battles of our time, and tug-of-war in Australia continues to roll on. More importantly, the cracks continue to be shown.
For now, I will add these regions to the list of locations I will need to be cautious of whenever I am visiting – remembering to find my own sources of filtered, clean water.

As far as I am concerned this is medication without consent. That by itself should be a legal reason to ban state wide fluoridation. Fluoride is not an essential mineral, it is a waste product of several industries and should not be near any public water supply. I suspect it is implicated in many diseases including osteoporosis.
I agree, well said.
