KARL APOLOGIES
Australian television presenter Karl Stefanovic has said he is “legitimately sorry” for the role he played in promoting COVID-19 jabs during the ‘pandemic’ while working for Nine Network, acknowledging he now has regrets about how the issue was handled by the media.
Speaking on his podcast, Stefanovic reflected on the period when broadcasters and public figures were heavily involved in encouraging Australians to get jabbed against COVID-19.
The veteran host, best known for presenting the breakfast programme Today, said he wished he had questioned government messaging and mandates more thoroughly at the time.
During the height of the ‘pandemic’ in 2021, Stefanovic and other media personalities took part in the national vaccination initiative This Is Our Shot, which sought to encourage Australians to receive COVID-19 jabs as part of the country’s public health response.
At the time, the campaign featured prominent journalists, broadcasters, and celebrities speaking publicly about vaccination in an effort to build confidence in the rollout.
The footage of Karl was filmed during a morning episode of the Today show, where Karl and Allison Langdon rolled up their sleeves for COVID jabs live on TV — then encouraging the audience to do the same.
In the podcast discussion, Stefanovic said he felt the media may have played too strong a role in promoting a particular viewpoint, rather than maintaining a more questioning stance.
He also suggested that some coverage may have contributed to social division during a period when vaccination and government mandates became highly polarising issues.
“I’m definitely sorry,” Stefanovic said, reflecting on the period.
He added that he believed journalists should have been more willing to challenge official narratives and policies surrounding the ‘pandemic’ response.
His comments also touched on the broader climate at the time, when debates around vaccination, lockdowns, and workplace mandates often became heated.
Stefanovic suggested that some Australians who held different views may have felt marginalised or excluded from the public conversation.
His comments as a rare admission from a high-profile media figure that coverage during the ‘pandemic’ may have lacked balance, particularly in relation to dissenting voices about mandates and restrictions. Despite expressing regret about the media’s role, Stefanovic did not claim that COVID-19 jabs themselves were ineffective or unsafe.
The admission come years after the most intense phase of the ‘pandemic’ is over, as many countries continue to examine how governments, institutions, and the media responded.
Stefanovic’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions, reopening a broader conversation about the responsibilities of journalists during public health emergencies.
Especially discussion around the media’s role between supporting public safety and maintaining robust scrutiny of official policy.
Journalists are supposed to hold those in power to account. Yet, when it comes to the Australian media, the COVID period proved to us just the opposite.
The media are simply a PR wing of the establishment, and when their grants and advertisers are on the line – they will throw you under the bus with no question.
Karl was a big part of this problem, and although it is good to hear some type of apology now – those who had to live through an era of unprecedented segregation will never forget.
They will never ever forget how they were excluded, ridiculed, and punished for taking responsibility for their own personal medical choices.
THE JAB SAGA
Australia experienced some of the harshest and most ridiculous COVID-19 restrictions in the world, and people like Karl helped to facilitate messages of totalitarianism to the masses.
The unvaccinated of Australia deserve medals for everything they had to endure.
In 2021, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that vaccinated Australians will get “special rules” to avoid lockdown restrictions once 70 per cent of the adult population have had two doses. He then went on to deny that this was ‘forcing’ anyone to do it.

Would he stand up for what is right, or would he cower in the face of the machine yet again?

Of course it is perfectly safe for him to speak out now, in 2026, after the main covid fury/nonsense has quietened down. He should have spoken out 2 or 3 years ago, at least. Too little too late I say, if only someone like Karl had the guts to question the narrative as it was unfolding when it mattered the most, but of course if he did that he would not of lasted very long in his job! Which makes me wonder if another pandemic were to unfold, would he just fall right back in line in promoting the official narrative or would he be more questioning and critical the next around? Time will tell.

Well on the surface it sounds like a very fine, courageous gesture. I hope he is sincere and genuine, but I’ll reserve my now ingrained sckepticism, and now permanent distrust, induced by 5 years of lies, deception and utter contempt, for what I call the taking heads on TV, the Tokyo Roses and Hanoi Hannah’s on what was once know as radio but has been corrupted to feed the masses everything the controlling “elite’ want broadcast.
The lies fed to them by Pharma financial resources set aside to make grown men’s eyes water and weak me sell their souls to the devil. Off course the media celebrities will give everyone their strong impression they are our friends, one of us…in your dreams! They will sell everybody out with the right material incentive. Who’s surprised? They want to keep their jobs, their income, their ‘status’ etc. But what they don’t realise is they sell their souls to the devil….there is a way back from that in Jesus, but that’s for another day.
But Karl was not alone he had another overinflated radio “personality” Ray Hadley who cringingly got on board with the scam by eagerly wanting to be seen to be one of societies hard-nosed champions of social integrity and all that is righteous. The difference for me was that my boof-headed 75 year old brain could identify the glaring unjust, inhumane, inconsistencies and contradictions, and overruling on common laws and conventions (uncoerced free consent) that respected the rights of Aussie citizen. For me the starting point for Karl (forget the other bloke, humility is a dirty word for him), a more genuine , sincere apology would have been not to speak of his regret for not “speaking up more”, but not speaking up at all. He knew, they all new, but chose silence, the could have made such a difference but chose not to, with the exception of a few brave souls who you may never hear of again.
If His apology (I’m not even sure he’s apologising) was truly heartfelt and genuine, since, He would ASK FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF THOSE WHO REFUSED TO BEND TO KNEE to the corupted authorities who initiated the scam and promoted it without compromise. He would ask for forgiveness for the contemptuous, condescension and disrespect directed at innocent Aussies who had every right to say no to the lies.
Until I hear a request for forgiveness for speaking so derogatorily and malisciously and besmirching the names of good, decent Aussie, his “regrets’ are meaningless. Every one regrets error. To rectify past erros we need to admit, “I did it…please forgive me” And I would! A real public apology for me musk include asking for forgiveness.
For me, my lowest point was a week or so before Anzac Day (1921?). I and many others could not gain entry into cafe/restaurant for a meal because I had no proof that I was stabbed with the counterfeit protection for a flu. Pedophiles, murderers, wife bashers and even the elite power pullers themselves could all gain entry, if they were jabbed but the selfish deplorables were rejected.,… I never marched on Anzac Day and haven’t since.
Karl, you owe many many Australians who you directly degraded and emotionally abused a genuine apology. And I’m sure you still haven’t processed the severity of your indifference. Please give it some deeper thought.

Yes, he needs to put his money where his mouth is. How about spilling the beans about how much the media was paid to push these bioweapons. How about helping to highlight in the mainstream media the plight of the dead and damaged from this weapon that was unleashed onto the public. How about the fear that was pushed. When I see action I will begin to forgive, that will show he really means it. This information needs more mainstream airing because being on only alt media is generally speaking to the converted and is not making enough noise for something to change in this country. I suspect that government, media and medical authorities are taking orders from their masters, This needs to be publicly aired otherwise we will just keep going on doing the same next time around.
Better late than never. For most of the vax promoters (jabberjockeys) it will be never.
