CURFEW NOT JUSTIFIED

Daniel Andrews’ draconian COVID curfews were not guided by medical advice, new emails have revealed.

The government said it “did what was needed to protect Victorians” during lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, when it banned 5 million Melbourne residents from leaving their homes without authorisation between 8pm and 5am.

However, secret letters outlining the former Premier’s decision-making process were released this week, confirming that curfew times were simply made up by the Cabinet themselves.

Former Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton and then-Public Health Commander Finn Romanes discussed in an email exchange at the time that medical experts ‘ultimately supported the mandates’, even though they had not proposed them. This is despite telling the public that all decisions were passed on from the ‘medical experts’.

This order gave then-Police and Emergency Services Minister Lisa Neville broad powers to make sure people were complying with the six-week curfew.

At the time, Andrews would not disclose who conceived the idea for the lockdown curfews, but had conceded that ‘these are decisions ultimately made by me’. We covered this in an article in 2020:

Victoria’s current Premier, Jacinta Allan, was part of a seven-member crisis Cabinet that signed off on the lockdown — and she is the only member still serving in parliament.

Opposition upper-house leader, David Davis, stated the release of this information should lead to an explanation from the government, given that Allan was still in power.

“It is not just for the former Premier Daniel Andrews to explain but also Jacinta Allan, as his hand chosen successor,” Davis commented after the release of the emails.

“She can’t hide under a rock given the damage that was done to Victorians by decisions she was intimately involved in.”

Davis is the man who waged a Freedom of Information battle to have these emails released for over four years, finally getting the win with a ruling handed down in March of this year:

Davis says Andrews and his Cabinet members acted as ‘lone rangers’ during the lockdown, despite what the public had been told during the ‘pandemic’. 

“These are tough choices but they are the decisions I’ve taken because they’re the decisions that will keep us safe,” Andrews said at the time. 

But these decisions were implemented completely based on the opinion of Andrews and his crew, not on data or modelling that would suggest this is a necessary path of action (which is also fake, if we are being honest).

The emails continue with Dr. Romanes sending a letter to Professor Sutton, asking if he would like the Department of Health and Human Services to issue a public health direction in line with the new lockdowns. 

“I note that I have been advised by Kate Houghton and others that the action of a curfew is a clear action within the State of Disaster and there is a clear desire within government to mirror that within the State of Emergency, however note that the idea of a curfew has not arisen from public health advice in the first instance,” he wrote.

Romanes clarified in the letter that his department’s action in issuing a curfew “…is not occurring on public health advice, but is a decision taken by cabinet”.

Sutton sent back a confirmation 30 minutes later telling Romanes that his assessment was “…correct as I understand it”. 

The authorities defended Andrews’ actions as ‘necessary to protect all Victorians and save lives’, but now the truth — something we already knew — is out in the open for all to see.

‘Dictator Dan’, as he was called by many during the ‘pandemic’ era, certainly lived up to his name.

He was a character who routinely made decisions that not only destroyed the Victorian economy, but left irreversible damage to the people of Victoria. All at the direction of his NWO masters.

Years on, and the aftermath of these tyrannical orders are still being felt across many metrics.

LOCKDOWN AFTERMATH

Victoria indisputably went through the toughest ordeal of any state in the country, and perhaps the world.

Melbourne had six lockdowns, totalling 262 days:

• Lockdown 1: March 26 to May 12, 2020 – 43 days
• Lockdown 2: July 8 to October 27, 2020 – 111 days
• Lockdown 3: February 12 to February 17, 2021 – 5 days
• Lockdown 4: May 27 to June 10, 2021 – 14 days
• Lockdown 5: July 15 to July 27, 2021 – 12 days
• Lockdown 6: August 5 to October 21, 2021 – 77 days

You could count the toll since in many ways.

You could count the dead bodies. You could also count the cancelled trips. The divorces. The press conferences. The rolls of toilet paper. The millions of Australians who were coerced into getting vaccinated.

The pro-choice and anti-lockdown protests, there were a few of those too.

While the collective loss is great, many Victorians all have our own personal tallies. Some of these are obvious, and some have remained subterranean.

This is backed up by The Lancet, who published findings last year that shows “…the imposition of lockdowns was associated with a negative change in overall population mental health”.

Importantly, they added: “…the results suggest that the mental health effects of lockdowns differ by population subgroups and for some might have exaggerated existing inequalities in mental health”.

Other research also found that lockdowns had statistically significant impacts on several domains of human life.

• Women had lower mental health and working hours.
• Men felt less part of their community and suffered reduced working hours.
• Mothers had lower mental health, despite feeling safer. Some outcomes worsened with lockdown length.
• Fathers increased their alcohol consumption.

Beyond mental health, the impact of the nation-wide lockdown in March 2020 and the Victorian lockdowns that followed was a major detractor from GSP growth.

The cumulative loss over the pandemic period in Victoria was estimated to be $69.5 billion.

This caused irreversible damage to the state, and country, that is still be felt to this day.

Post-COVID Victoria begins to come apart at the seams

I hope the ‘Dan the Man’ crew are hanging their heads in shame right now. All of those who screamed that such authoritarian measures were ‘vital to protecting our health’. Those that punished whoever didn’t feel the same.

Shame on all of you, and shame on Victoria’s current Premier who was a part of this Cabinet Cartel.

What happened in Victoria made Australia the laughing stock of the entire world, and the response from police — who bashed old ladies in the street — is something many of us will never ever forget.

It’s no wonder people cheered and celebrated in the streets as Dan stepped down from Parliament.

As more documents and emails are revealed, let’s hope even more of the lies are exposed. We know the entire lockdown and ‘pandemic’ strategy was a fraud and a scam to begin with, after all.

More importantly, with ‘Disease X’ lurking around the corners, we should take these revelations as a lesson for the next time government tyrants try to illegally flex their powers on us all.
