WHAT IS DISCORD?
Discord is a relatively new platform (program/app), which is basically a superior Skype.
The Discord platform is built around the idea of ‘servers’.
Anybody can start their own private server and invite people to join.
TOTT News has created an invite-only Discord server, specifically for members of this site, to be known as the TOTT Discord Server.
When logged into a server, a user can either participate in text channel discussions, the group call channel of that server, start private calls with other users and more.
Once you have joined, at any time of the day, you will be able to log-in to Discord, click on the TOTT server icon, and see if other members are online. Also catch up on discussions and more.
If you haven’t used Discord before, it might sound complicated, but you’ll soon see below that it is an incredibly user-friendly platform.

JOIN TOTT SERVER
Please take the following steps to join the TOTT Member Discord:
STEP 1 – HEAD TO DISCORD
Click here to be taken to the Discord log-in screen.
This is where you can easily create an account for Discord.
Discord is available on website browsers, via a smartphone app or desktop app.
If you already have a Discord account, skip to ‘Step 3’.
STEP 2 – REGISTER FOR DISCORD
Click ‘Register’ at the bottom of the box.
All that is required is your email, a username, a password and date of birth.
That’s it.
No mandatory phone numbers, or proof-of-ID requirements.
Please make sure you use the same email that is linked to your TOTT News account.
STEP 3 – JOIN TOTT SERVER
Once your account has been created, you will be taken to a Discord home page.
Click the ‘+’ sign in the left hand column:
Next, click ‘Join a Server’:
Take the Discord code and paste it in the related box!
All done!
Make sure to read the welcome message in the ‘Welcome’ channel!
Also, please verify your email when you can.
A link will be sent to you upon registration.
