The Australian government’s vision to “better coordinate responses to disease outbreaks” with a U.S-style Centre for Disease Control (CDC) is progressing ahead, Health Minister Mark Butler has announced.
Butler, in making the announcement, explained new legislation would soon be introduced to parliament next year to outline the centre, its functions, and establish its independence.
“The Albanese Government is delivering on a key commitment – the establishment of an independent Australian Centre for Disease Control.”
“The government is investing $251 million over the forward estimates as well as funding ongoing to establish an independent, authoritative centre for disease control to commence from 1 January 2026,” he said.
The centre will be responsible for the surveillance of wastewater to monitor diseases, as well as communication with regional and local partners.
Medical authorities say, ‘inadequate national coordination’ of disease tracking, data analysis, lab capacity to process PCR tests, all made Australia ‘worse off’ during the ‘pandemic’.
In the event of a new ‘pandemic’, this group would also assist to coordinate the ‘response’.
“…The lack of planning Australia’s pandemic response to COVID was slow, confused and lacked authority. The establishment of the Australian CDC will ensure we are prepared next time.”
We first reported the unveiling of the idea for an Australian CDC in 2022, and since then, an interim centre has been working within the Department of Health.
This new legislation would allow the group to become independent from the Health Department and was a priority recommendation of a 670-page report resulting from an inquiry into Australia’s COVID-19 response.
If another ‘event’ was to occur, a private, centralised response is what can be expected and given the track record of the U.S CDC, we are not in for a good time.
CDC’S SHADY RECORD
Organisations like the CDC played a key role in facilitating the COVID scam to the masses, pushing vaccines through with dubious and sometimes fraudulent data underpinning it.
Much of this has been uncovered in Dr. T.J. Coles’ exclusive Pfizer Papers series for TOTT News, which included documents showing the CDC recommended the jab for under-5s against what the safety data from Pfizer themselves stated.
In this revelation, we saw the CDC recommend the biological product (‘vaccine’) under Emergency Use Authorization for under-5s in June 2022.
However, an obtained Pfizer document updated one month later in July 2022 shows that the safety and efficacy had not yet been established in this age group.
They told us to ‘trust the science’ when it seems they didn’t even follow it themselves.
Not just that, they openly lied about the facts.
Documented correspondence between CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and former NIH Director Francis Collins showed they knew of, and discussed, “breakthrough cases” in vaccinated individuals as early as January 2021, right as vaccinations became available.
Walensky states in the discovered email, that “clearly” breakthrough cases are “an important area of study”, and also provided a link to a study which addressed the issue. She proceeded to assure email recipients that the matter was ‘being relayed to Dr. Anthony Fauci’.
Months after acknowledging this data, her public announcements entailed intentional misinformation, saying vaccinated people “don’t carry the virus” and “don’t get sick.”
Yes, this infamous interview was two months after the uncovered emails above.
Despite this, she continued to peddle the lie used to justify lockdowns and mandates.
After the public began to realise that infections were still occurring in the vaccinated, Walensky defended her lies about transmission amongst at a congressional hearing.
She maintained her claims were ‘true’ during the time she said them, citing virus strands from early 2021 as her reasoning.
The newly disclosed documents prove Walenksy knew these declarations were false.
Despite this, she proceeded to pedal the misinformation, ultimately resulting in government justification to mandate the shots for work, travel, school and more.
But the lie couldn’t last forever.
Today, the CDC is forced to admit that COVID is basically the flu, and people should ‘follow the same precautions you take with the flu’, according to new guidelines.
From the rooftops, so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ screamed at the time that the similarities between COVID and the regular flu were almost indistinguishable from each other, after initial projections of hundreds of thousands dying in the first few months fell flat.
So, can we really trust an Australian-style CDC to coordinate future responses?
I don’t like the odds, if you ask me, and given their operation will take place externally from the Health Department, who know what other influences might get involved.
Let’s not forget the ‘pandemic treaty’ is still currently waiting in the wings, too.
