Some wild future scenarios detailed.
NEW RAND REPORT
Perhaps one of the most mind-blowing military reports in quite some time has recently been released, forecasting the potential of a future with robotic and microchip-driven warmongering.
Several crazy scenarios have been outlined in a new report sponsored by the U.S. Office of the Secretary of Defense and published via the RAND website.
The report, Plagues, Cyborgs, and Supersoldiers: The Human Domain of War Research, delves into how CRISPR gene-editing technology, mRNA vaccines, brain networking and other technological advancements, could unleash new forms of military conflict.
This report, conducted by the Acquisition and Technology Policy Program of the RAND National Security Research Division, offers futuristic scenarios that military planners should consider.
“The emergence of ever more countries with advanced biotechnology capabilities raises a new, more dynamic future for biotechnology at war,” the report reads in the introductory section.
“Today, technological improvements, including messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccines, the use of CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) gene-sequences as a genetic engineering tool, and advances in BCI, may shift strategic calculations.”
Hang on, I thought the use of these types of advancements for evil was a ‘conspiracy theory’?
“We see a complex, high-threat landscape emerging where future wars are fought with humans controlling hyper-sophisticated machines with their thoughts…” and “…synthetically generated, genomically-targeted plagues” that cripple the American military-industrial base,” the report continues.
Yes, it’s pretty full on stuff, but aligned with many of the things we warn about here on the website.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the whole report are the situations that are given as examples.
In one scenario, the year is 2028, and “a new and highly infectious coronavirus” has struck the sailors of the U.S. Pacific Fleet stationed in the South China Sea.
As the world grapples with this emerging pandemic, confusion runs rampant among officials at the CIA, CDC, and DOD, who bicker over the most effective response strategies (was this targeted?).
Meanwhile, China, seemingly immune to the novel virus, seizes the opportunity to launch a full-scale assault on Taiwan, capitalising on the global chaos.
This scenario, initially conceived by Pentagon researchers, may sound like science fiction, but military strategists believe that a “coronavirus bioweapon” may lurk on the horizon.
In another intriguing scenario, seemingly inspired by the mental decline and death of 90-year-old Senator, Dianne Feinstein, and this time set in a more distant future, the report suggests that elderly congressional leaders, desperate to retain power, secretly install Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) devices.
These devices, commonly used among wealthy senior citizens in the scenario, initially help the senators regain mobility and speech after years of clear cognitive decline.
However, when the brain implants malfunction, “causing erratic and belligerent behaviour”, foreign allies begin to distance themselves from the U.S., damaging national security.
The report further highlights the potential hacking vulnerabilities associated with BCI implants, which, while promising for patients with impairments, could be exploited to inject fear, confusion, or anger.
Additionally, the authors caution against the possibility of government employees replacing their natural eye lenses with artificial ones containing tiny cameras connected to “micro-storage devices”. The small cameras could collect classified intelligence and leak it to foreign adversaries.
It seems we are not the only ‘crazy cookers’ worried about this type of agenda being carried out, from the rise of bioweapons, to the dangers of brain microchips.
But it doesn’t end there.
In another section discussing human genomic editing, the researchers explore the potential for creating “supersoldiers” through genetic modifications that “enhance physical and psychological capabilities”.
In this instance, BCI devices could also serve as a means for commanders to communicate swiftly with their forces during military operations.
The report extensively analyses the technological capabilities of both China and the U.S. in biotechnology and brain technology, highlighting the differences in focus and status between the two nations.

In the face of a more contagious and deadly pandemic, authoritarian states might gain the power to brutally suppress “anti-vaccine populists” and “enforce compliance”.
Indeed, if you had suggested these types of scenarios to people just a decade ago, they would campaign to have you taken to a mental health facility.
Now, as we steam through 2024, the building blocks have already been laid for this to become a reality.
NOT SCIENCE FICTION
The scenarios envisioned by the RAND researchers are not that far from what could be coming on the horizon, or potentially, has already happened in the past before.
As Dr. Coles laid out in his article, the U.S. military have openly discussed genetically weaponizing disease, and when examined, the very concept of a ‘bioweapon’ is almost indistinguishable from ‘vaccination’.
The ‘knowing injection of an active virus, synthetic or real, to gain a result’ part.
We also know that the rise of brain-reading technology is now very real, with BCI devices exploding over the past decade or so, already on the path to normalisation in society.
We have seen WEF presenters state that companies can already “decode brainwaves”, and researchers at the University of Queensland (UQ) have created the world’s first “wireless remote care platform”.
This platform allows clinicians to monitor patients remotely, as well as adjust the device in real-time.
We also know that the rise of cyborgs is also not a product of the movie theatre anymore, with more advanced creations being rolled out by some of the world’s richest tycoons.
From “AI agents”, to mind control from a central location, any potential chaos that may arise would of course present the perfect opportunity to seize more power when rolling out the ‘solution’.
The wild examples that the RAND report detail should make us all pay attention to the potential future direction of the world, and we have stated this type of disruption is exactly what they want.
The end goal is a cyborg (transhuman) ruling class and genetically-engineered human slaves.
We are living in a very interesting period of human history, ladies and gentlemen. Strap yourselves in for one hell of a ride in the not-too-distant-future.
But as I always stress, those with the ‘eyes to see’ (like those reading this) are in the best position possible to ensure we aren’t as impacted as the rest of the world will be through these changes.

And if I don’t read the articles early, I may not get around to them, as my days usually get filled with other matters…so I jump in early.
Indeed, this stuff is not science fiction. I have just skimmed through today’s Adelaide Harvey Norman Daily. On p10 we have:
“Brain implant a first for Musk.
Elon Musk said his Neuralink startup had installed a brain implant in its first human patient with “promising” initial results. ‘The first human received an implant from Neuralink yesterday and is recovering well,’ Musk said in a post on X. ‘Initial results show promising neuron spike detection,’ he added.”
The aim, inter alia, is to “one day achieve a symbiotic relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.”
