More control under the Agenda 2030 plan.
HIGH SEAS TREATY
After a spate of approvals at the 2025 UN Ocean Conference in France this week, 50 countries and the European Union have now ratified the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction Pact, or ‘High Seas Treaty’ as it has become more commonly known.

This takes the total number of countries that have ratified the High Seas Treaty from 32 to 50, and once ratified by 10 more states, it will come into force 120 days later.
Not only did 18 more countries use the conference as an opportunity to ratify the High Seas Treaty, but others also announced new restrictions on damaging fishing practices like bottom-trawling in their national waters, outside the scope of the treaty.

The treaty would give governments the power to create “protected areas” in international waters – the parts of the ocean more than 370 km from land.
These areas make up the majority of the world’s sea.

These Marine Protected Areas could restrict environmentally damaging activities like fishing boats dragging nets for their catches.
The treaty would also establish a framework requiring governments to conduct impact assessments for activities on the high seas that “may cause substantial pollution of or significant and harmful changes to the marine environment”.

Interestingly, the document has now been deleted from the UN website? Luckily you can still read it on the Wayback Machine, once you skip past the Asian languages.
It includes a political declaration and more than 800 voluntary commitments by governments, scientists, UN agencies and civil society.
Australia signed on to the agreement in September 2023.
The conference was the largest UNOC ever with 175 countries, 64 Heads of State, 115 Ministers, 28 Heads of UN agencies, and 12,000 delegates in total.
Key outcomes include $8.7 billion in investments for accelerating ocean conservation in the next 5 years by philanthropists, private investors and public banks, and a boost to stated Marine Protected Area (MPA) coverage from 8% to more than 10%.
Unelected world bodies are moving once against to ‘preserve’ large parts of the planet.
In doing so, they hope for us to enter a future where everything is restricted — no access — except for the smart city nightmare prisons they are continuing to fine tune across the country.
All part of the Agenda 2030 plan, ladies and gentlemen.
AGENDA 2030
There is a calculated effort to seize most of the world’s land and seas under the guise of ‘protecting biodiversity’, openly admitted to be a key pillar of the Agenda 2030 plan.
In 2023, the United Nations first introduced this world-first treaty to “protect marine life in the high seas”, hailing the “historic” agreement as “giving the ocean a fighting chance”. We covered this here on TOTT News:
Much concern was raised at the time, with many accusing the U.N. of moving to take control of regions outside of national boundaries in order to enforce greater restrictions on how they are used.
This followed UN negotiators reaching a “historic” deal at the COP15 biodiversity conference in December 2022, representing “the most significant effort to protect the world’s lands and oceans” by 2030.
The treaty openly seeks to advance Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14, which aims to ‘conserve and sustainably manage our ocean’. This is despite the group never being elected by citizen in any nation.

The United Nations continues their creep to take control of most of Earth’s resources, for which humans will be banned or face major restrictions to use over the next few decades.
It’s not just the seas these parasitic elitists are planning to control.
In June 2022, an international team of UN scientists called for more than 40 per cent of Earth’s land surface ‘to be conserved’ in order to ‘protect biodiversity’.
That is a total of 64 million square kilometres of ‘protected land’ needed “to halt the current decline in biodiversity”, and most of it is contained within habitable zones of humans currently.
Australia, as always, is right in the thick of all of these international shifts that are occurring, lapping up to the UN and any other unelected world body they can get their hands on.
We will continue to keep an eye on this developing agreement, and what it might mean for the world.
