Australia to align with strict ‘Euro 6d’ standards.
NEW GUIDELINES
Australia is set to overhaul its automotive landscape, potentially bidding farewell to the era of top-selling cars such as the Toyota HiLux ute, beloved SUVs, and colossal American pick-up trucks.
The catalyst for this transformation comes from new guidelines announced by the Federal Government, which mandate stringent emission standards for petrol and diesel-powered vehicles.
In 2017, the Australian government introduced the Product Emissions Standards Legislative Framework that allows them to “…prescribe emissions-controlled products and make Rules relating to those products”.
This is the latest draconian ‘upgrade’ to that framework, with the new guidelines to be aligned with ‘Euro 6d’ standards — scheduled to be enforced starting in 2025.
This shift puts numerous popular models, ranging from passenger cars and SUVs, to utes and even trucks, at risk of extinction unless they comply with the demanding Euro 6d standards.
The overarching goal is to bring Australia in line with emission standards already embraced by Europe.
Of course, the government themselves say this is all about ‘improving public health‘.
The Euro 6d standards, implemented in Europe in 2021, set a benchmark that rivals or surpasses emission protocols enforced in other developed markets.
The Australian adaptation of these stringent rules is slated to impact new cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles entering the market from December 2025, but these standards will apply universally to all models, regardless of their launch date, from 2028.
Over half of all new petrol and diesel-powered vehicles are currently not in-line with the new standards:
While the new regulations will undoubtedly push automakers to introduce ‘cleaner’ vehicles to the Australian market, they are separate from a potentially more rigorous Fuel Efficiency Standard also under consideration by the Federal Government.
So, with both programs, the way we once knew and loved cars here in Australia is set to change.
Proponents of electric vehicles contend that such a mandate would incentivise car manufacturers to introduce more zero-emission vehicles, ‘lowering the overall emissions average’.
Which is all part of the plan by the climate cult to take more control of your lives.
TRANSPORT TRANSFORMATION
The automobile is the symbol of freedom: Being able to jump in the car and travel anywhere you want.
But future generations may not have this luxury, with their cars mandates to be ‘sustainable’ and packed to the rims with computers and surveillance/AI technology.
We only need to look at just where the world is headed to see how this shift is a problem.
Alongside the emission standards, Australia’s plans include mandating fewer “aromatic hydrocarbons” in 95-octane premium unleaded fuel.
The sulphur content in all types of petrol is also set to decrease, with low-sulphur petrol delayed until December 2025 to facilitate “a smoother transition for fuel suppliers and customers”.
Ironically, electric utes have already been hyped up in the months leading to this announcement, tipped as the ‘next big thing’ that will replace traditional models.
But here’s the thing: There’s no choice in the matter.
You WILL adopt these cars whether you like them or not, says the Polyergus parasites, and part of the plan is to heavily restrict all the models you know and love until every option is practically the same.
From 2035, states like the ACT have already announced they will ban new petrol and diesel cars, and how long will it be before services like insurance are ‘no longer viable’ for ‘older earth-harming models’?
The government estimates that the combined impact of new emissions standards, and changes to fuel quality, will yield savings of $6.1 billion in health and fuel costs by 2040.
They may profit from it, absolutely. But due to ‘savings in health’? Give me a break.
It’s all about money and control, and always has been for these people.
Once they have fully transitioned the collective mind away from petrol and diesel models, the next phase will be to eliminate your ability to control your hybrid car, once again ‘for your health’.
Driverless vehicles are currently here in Australia and one of the biggest arguments for their expansion includes the reasoning: ‘They produce less crashes than human error does each year’.
Vehicles have already become highly tech-based, with the days of popping open the engine and quickly fixing things gone. Now it needs to be sent to a computer technician to run a diagnostics test..
Researchers have described the vast expansion of surveillance technology in cars as “a privacy nightmare on wheels”, with your symbol of freedom now having the ‘eyes and ears’ to track you.
This is also part of the plan, as driverless AI-powered cars will connect to smart city infrastructure, which for vehicles includes traffic-management systems like the one found in Melbourne.
Most people just can’t see the ‘bigger picture’ with what is going on here. I even saw a YouTube ad for a new 4WD with the bloke constantly highlighting all of the cool tech features inside the vehicle.
It’s all fun and games now, until one day the old models are gone and broken down, and all that remains in its place is electric ‘smart cars’, soon to be transitioned completely to driverless features.
Economic modelling predicts ‘innovative’ transport systems led by AVs will generate $62 billion in Australia, and with this change, you will be in the minority if you own a car by 2050.
Not cars, but pods that will ship you to your location while playing advertisements the whole way and recommending we ‘pull into McDonalds based on your previous activity’.
That’s if your fortunate enough to afford to maintain one and don’t end up being shuttled to the city by high-speed rail lines, conveniently built in the ruins of disaster, that leave every 5 minutes.
Shame, Australian government. Shame!

Bet this won’t be affecting the global elite who will still rack up 1000 times more emissions than the average person. I am already driving a soon to be 20 year old car(bought used 10 years ago) and even that was a jump up from the old 1980s Holden I use to drive. We all cannot afford new cars, and I don’t want one with all the gadgets either, I just want a comfortable undistracted drive. Yes petrol does cause pollution and it is not healthy to breath in, but not going to help the health of everyone before getting rid of the over 100,000 mainly untested chemicals in our world, nah don’t think so, they do not care about our health, only have to look at what poisons they allow and even encourage everyone has on or in their bodies.
Time the auto industry started fighting for its rights. These regulations aren’t lawful or constitutional. I’ve noticed in the last four years it isn’t ordinary people who cave first under tyranny, it’s businesses. They are the essential linchpin in getting ordinary people to comply.
