LYME DISEASE VACCINE

A new vaccine candidate for Lyme disease has ‘demonstrated more than 70 per cent efficacy’ in a large Phase 3 clinical trial, marking “a significant step forward in efforts to combat the most common vector-borne illness in the Northern Hemisphere”.

Developed jointly by Pfizer and Valneva, the vaccine – known as VLA15 – was tested in approximately 9,400 participants aged five years and older across the U.S, Europe, and Canada. The trial evaluated the vaccine’s ability to ‘prevent Lyme disease’ following doses.

According to data released by the companies, the vaccine ‘achieved an efficacy rate’ of roughly 73 per cent in ‘preventing confirmed cases of infection’.

The vaccine works by ‘targeting a protein found on the surface of the Lyme-causing bacteria’ while it resides inside the tick.

This approach aims to ‘neutralise the pathogen before it can be transmitted to humans during a tick bite’, an ‘indirect but innovative method of protection’.

Researchers reported that the vaccine was “generally well tolerated”, with “no major safety concerns identified during the study period”.

These findings place VLA15 among the most advanced candidates in a field where no human vaccine is currently available.

Despite the encouraging headline figure, the trial results come with an important caveat.

The study did not meet its primary statistical endpoint, largely because the number of Lyme disease cases recorded during the trial was lower than anticipated.

You can’t make it up: They couldn’t find enough people sick with this disease that desperately needs a vaccine to ‘combat it’.

Could it be they are actually looking to increase cases with synthetic injections?

They say this ‘reduced incidence’ made it more difficult to demonstrate efficacy with the level of statistical certainty required under the original study design.

So, to compensate for this, they did a secondary analysis of the data – with the same small groups – which then allowed them to meet the necessary thresholds for ‘efficacy’.

Go figure.

This then allowed developers to argue that the vaccine still ‘provides meaningful protection’.

Health ‘experts’ note that such outcomes are not uncommon in infectious disease trials, where fluctuating exposure rates can influence results.

In other words, these tricks are played quite often when procedural requirements are not met in vaccine trials – to still ‘get them across the line’.

Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia Burgdorferi and is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected ticks. Symptoms can range from fever and fatigue, to more severe complications affecting the joints, heart, and nervous system if left untreated.

Health authorities estimate that hundreds of thousands of cases occur annually across North America and Europe, with incidence rising due to environmental and ecological changes.

The absence of a licensed human vaccine has been ‘a longstanding gap in prevention efforts’.

A longstanding gap in extra revenue streams for Big Pharma, that is.

Interesting facts: Bill Gates has funded research into genetically engineered cattle ticks since 2021.

I’m sure that’s just a ‘coincidence’ though.

They have tried this move for a Lyme disease vaccine before.

A previous vaccine introduced in the late 1990s was later withdrawn from the market, leaving clinicians reliant on early diagnosis and antibiotic treatment. This was due to low sales, intense media attention, and lawsuits alleging side effects like arthritis.

We shall see how things go this time around.

Both Pfizer and Valneva have indicated that they intend to submit the Phase 3 data to regulatory authorities in the United States and Europe in the near future.

If approved, the vaccine could become available as early as 2027, although timelines will depend on regulatory review and additional data requirements.

Yes, the corporate behemoths at Pfizer just can’t stop with their mission to ‘save the world’ from diseases. Another jab in the pipeline to satisfy the shareholders and larger powers.

With attention diverted away from them after one of the most widespread human crimes in history, Pfizer and others look to fly under the radar once again.

PFIZER MOVES FORWARD

Since the ‘pandemic’ period finished and an endless wave of distractions has appeared since then, Big Pharma entities have had some of the heat die down on them.

But they continue to creep through societies, including Australia, releasing new products, testing new jabs for human beings, and influencing the health industry.
