Science fiction is becoming reality.
THE NEXT STEP
Elon Musk’s Tesla today held its ‘We, Robot’ event to demonstrate the company’s fully autonomous robotaxi vehicle and its humanoid robots.
The demonstration, live-streamed on Musk’s X platform, was held on the Warner Bros. lot in Hollywood this morning, adding a very interesting feel to the event.

At the event, Musk revealed a prototype of the company’s first fully driverless vehicle. The new vehicle is dubbed the ‘Cybercab’, and Tesla let guests at the event ride around in them.
The event’s surprise, however, was a brand-new ‘Robovan’ transport vehicle that can be configured as “mass transit” or a “cargo carrier”. And it looks straight out of a science fiction movie:
In addition, Tesla made sure its Optimus robots were a big part of its extravagant feel. The robots mingled with the crowd, served drinks to and played games with guests, and danced inside a gazebo. Seemingly most surprisingly, they could even talk. But it was mostly just a show.
I, Robot Director, Alex Proyas, posted about how similar the concepts were to his movie directly on Musk’s social media platform, commenting, “Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?”

And when you look at it, everything does feel very similar to the 2004 sci-fi film; a world where robots are integrated into society to serve and protect, before things get a little out of hand.

Now, consider that the movie itself was set in 2035, things get a little more eerie.
Indeed, much like the Henry Ford’s and Rockefellers of the past, Musk is the type of billionaire baron with the money to shape the world as he sees fit. He wants his mark to be left on the world, and is achieving it.
And, following years of predictive programming through Hollywood, the stage is set for ‘fiction’ to become reality.. right as the world enters its most crucial phase.
IT’S COMING
The fact that Tesla held this event on a movie set does mean it can be hard to tell what’s real and what’s make believe, and I understand that perhaps the robots had human assistance, or the fact that investors are selling off shares to his company, etc. But I can assure this is is the future, and it is very real.
The robots themselves are nothing new. We saw the first humanoid Optimus rolled out in 2022. But this event has definitely taken things to a new level in the race of the artificial intelligence ‘revolution’.
The transformation that AI will bring cannot be understated, and I have driven this message home for many years. Driverless vehicles are already in San Francisco, and even here in Sydney.
This push is part of a greater shift to completely get everyone off the roads, at least in their own private vehicle, and pushed onto smart bullet trains, driverless buses, and by the looks of it, cargo carriers.
Everything from smart cities to the cashless society are part of the bigger picture, but Elon also has a transhumanist vision to take things further. He believes we should merge with the machines.

His explorations with Neuralink further prove this notion, as human beings are now being implanted with chips in their heads, with the ultimate goal for AR and VR commercialisation.
Last year, Musk launched his own rival to Open AI, ‘xAI’, with a vision to further understand artificial intelligence.. and eventually, the “nature of the universe”.
Musk also plans to have a stronghold on the technologies that make this possible, covering the night sky with ‘satellites’ that connect to his SpaceX internet service, which has 5G approval in Australia.
Don’t be fooled by the smoke and mirrors, or even the criticisms and naysayers, this transformation is here, and the Royal Society darlin’ himself, Mr. Musk, will carry out the ‘next revolution of Scientism’.
But if people only understood the real powers behind him, and his family history, they would think very differently about the man. I have likened Musk to a horsemen of the apocalypse (unveiling).
And the world will continue to rapidly shape towards Human 2.0.
