The crackdown on free thought continues?
TERROR LEVEL RAISED
When one bogeyman leaves, a familiar bogeyman re-appears. And the result once again again, hidden beneath the surface, is more prying eyes on anyone who questions the system.
What am I talking about? The federal government has raised Australia’s National Terrorism Threat Level from “possible” to “probable”, it has been announced.
A threat level of “probable”, under the current system, says there is a greater than 50% chance of an onshore attack or attack planning in the next twelve months.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced the move following a meeting of the national security committee and cabinet last week.
Intelligence analysts say the decision to raise the threat level was not triggered by any single ideology or issue, but reported an “overall rise in polarisation” in the West.
The terror threat level was last changed in 2022 when it was lowered to “possible”.
Albanese said he ‘sought to re-assure Australians’ that “…probable does not mean inevitable and it does not mean it is intelligence about an imminent threat or danger”.
“But the advice that we have received is that more Australians are embracing a more diverse range of extreme ideologies and it is our responsibility to be vigilant,” he said.
“…We have seen a global rise in politically motivated violence and extremist. Many democracies are working to address this including our friends in the United States and in the United Kingdom”.
Speaking alongside Albanese, the Director-General of Australia’s domestic intelligence service ASIO, Mike Burgess, said that the country’s security environment is “more volatile and more unpredictable”.
“More Australians are embracing a more diverse range of extreme ideologies and more Australians are willing to use violence to advance their cause. Politically motivated violence now joins espionage and foreign interference is our principal security concerns.”
Burgess also stressed that “probable does not mean inevitable”, but “radical and inflammatory views are being normalised.”
‘Inflammatory views?’
The language at play here is very suspect, as always with the ‘anti-terror’ lobby.
Here’s the kicker, he continued by saying:
“This trend increased during COVID and gained momentum after the terrorist attacks on Israel, and accelerated during Israel’s military response… Individuals are embracing anti-authority ideologies, conspiracy theories, and diverse grievances.”
Right there, we can see the real concern behind this push: Viewpoints that challenge the status quo.
Do you have questions that may be ‘anti-authority’ in nature? You may soon be formally viewed as a domestic terrorist, after the government has spent the past few years planting the seeds of division.
PROBLEM, REACTION, SOLUTION
Australia has ushered in a host of ‘pre‐crime’ surveillance measures over the last decade that permit the mass monitoring of society, while allowing for the restraint of individuals on the basis of ‘anticipated future harm’, rather than past or present wrongdoing.
Now, with the COVID era gone and a key period of the NWO plan set in motion, these sophisticated mechanisms are back again to squash any kind of questioning of the transition (in my humble opinion).
Taskforces have already been set up to monitor ‘misinformation’ online, and as the world becomes more unstable by design, we will see these powers further extended.
We have seen multiple stories in the past few years ramping up the PR campaign again ‘extremists’.
They have also been planting the seeds, with social division and propaganda during COVID, to paint anyone who questions government as a ‘crazy cook’ and ‘threat to society’.

In the years since September 11th, Australia has experienced significant shifts in traditional legal frameworks as part of a ‘hyper-legislative’ response to the ‘war on terror’.

Problem, reaction, solution.. as always. However, with the state of the world at present, all eyes are on just how hard the crackdowns could be if another ‘event’ was ‘allowed’ to take place.
