Australians who receive the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to carry proof of vaccination certificates on their smartphones through existing government apps.
The ‘proof of vaccination’ certificates will be administered through the Express Plus Medicare app, Minister for Government Services Stuart Robert announced on Sunday.
The proof of vaccination certificate will require sign-off from the federal cabinet, which is expected next week.
