Alternatives emerge as the market is centralised.
CHRISTIAN PHONE NETWORK
A new alternative mobile phone network has gone live in the U.S, designed with built-in pro-Christian content filtering and user control settings.

Radiant Mobile describes itself as a “Jesus-centred” service designed to “provide a safer digital environment for families and faith-based users”, positioning itself as an explicitly Christian-aligned telecom provider.

At the centre of its offering is a network-level content filtering system.
Unlike optional parental control apps installed on individual devices, Radiant’s filters are integrated into the network itself.
The company says this system categorises online content and blocks access to material it deems “inappropriate”, with pornography blocked by default across all accounts.
According to reports, the filtering system also includes broader categories that can be restricted, including some content relating to gender identity and LGBTQ+ topics.
This aspect of the service has been a key point of controversy, with cultural marxist critics arguing that it moves beyond child safety and into ‘ideological filtering’.
Radiant Mobile has defended its approach, saying the aim is to reduce exposure to harmful material online and provide users with a more controlled internet experience.
The company has also promoted partnerships with churches and Christian organisations, offering them opportunities to engage with subscribers and benefit financially from referrals and shared revenue arrangements.
Radiant Mobile began rolling out services in May 2026 as a “mobile virtual network operator” (MVNO), meaning it does not operate its own infrastructure but instead uses existing networks – in this case, T-Mobile U.S – to provide coverage.
The company offers standard mobile services, including unlimited calls, texts and data, at around $29.99 U.S per month.
The service is part of a wider trend in the United States of “values-based” mobile providers, although most competitors focus on charitable donations or political branding rather than technical content restriction. Radiant would be the first to implement such a strategy.
Radiant Mobile’s approach is unique in that it embeds filtering directly into the network, making it harder for users to disable or bypass.
Supporters of the service say it offers families an easier way to manage online safety without relying on multiple apps or device settings. They argue that existing parental controls can be complex to configure and inconsistent across devices.

Others have raised concerns about the implications of carrier-level filtering, warning that placing content controls at network level could reduce user autonomy.
Radiant Mobile enters a highly competitive U.S telecommunications market dominated by major carriers and established low-cost MVNOs.
Their launch has already prompted wider discussion about the intersection of faith, technology, and digital regulation – and to be honest, it’s good to see someone doing something. Social media and harmful algorithms have warped the minds of millions.
Regardless of whether this is just another scam product or something that actually makes any change, the premise remains the same: The marketplace will always adjust to meet supply and demand needs, and this is something we should all remember moving forward.
We all have the power to come up with ideas that can shape societies.
THE FREE MARKET
For all we know, this new phone could just be some new money grab – like the Trump gold mobile that is still yet to come out years later – but it is important to look beyond the story.
What this demonstrates, yet again, is an example of an alternative product emerging that meets the concerns of consumers head on. Something that can, and is, being achieved.
Take for instance, recent fuel headlines about Australian billionaire Adrian Portelli.
There was a demand, and he used his resources to meet that demand.

Now, they are criticising him inside of parliament for coming up with a solution – because, as we know, the government doesn’t actually want things to be fixed.
Which turns our attention back to mobile phones.
In this instance, there was a demand for a mobile carrier Christian parents can be confident is showing their children content and values they want to teach – and it has been met.
The marketplace works in wonderful ways when oligarchies and corporatism emerges.
Radiant Mobile isn’t alone in their endeavours to disconnect from the mainstream.
Similar carriers exist, such as Patriot Mobile, Pure Talk, Charity Mobile, and others.

All presenting alternatives for those who seek them.
What about the rise of so-called ‘dumb phones’, as they are called – devices that mimic a pre-smartphone era before harmful apps and powerful algorithms.

Young people, who have largely been the developmental victims of this technology, are deciding they have had enough – and other generations are following suit.
This is how things work, and I love when it does happen.
Many folks are afraid of the mass surveillance state that engulfs most of the country, and rightfully so, given the sheer scale of it all.
But, in times of dystopia, the alternative will always show itself.
I predict that anti-surveillance clothing and jewellery, already available for those who seek it, will only continue to grow as things get worse and people seek privacy once again.

Food systems will collapse, but new grassroots networks will form to fill the void.
For every action, there is an equal or opposite reaction.
Unless you are the Twin Towers falling at free fall with no path of resistance, of course.
But other than that one time where the laws of physics were defied, it is a reality of life.
Time will tell if Radiant Mobile becomes a true alternative to shelter children from the cultural marxist ideologies that have flooded our algorithms.
Regardless, everyone should take inspiration and think of their own ways to meet the demands of the coming global transitions – even if it is your own personal demands.
