Albanese’s plan rejected in QLD.
QLD WILL NOT PARTICIPATE
The Queensland Premier has slammed Canberra’s response to the Bondi event as “chaotic” and says his state will not participate in the Albanese government’s proposed gun buyback scheme, because “it would not keep weapons out of the hands of terrorists”.
David Crisafulli has confirmed the state will not participate in the Prime Minister’s national gun crusade that was recently passed by federal parliament.
Crisafulli’s reasoning is that the buyback “doesn’t address antisemitism and hate” and “doesn’t focus on keeping firearms out of the hands of terrorists and criminals”, which he says should be the priority of any reform.
The purchase and destruction of guns under the scheme is part of broader reforms passed in parliament in response to the Bondi Beach ‘terror attack’, which has reignited debates on gun control and ‘hate crime’ laws.
In response, Prime Minister Albanese criticised Queensland’s decision, saying uniform national gun laws are ‘in Australians’ interests’, and questioned how the buyback could work if a state with one of the highest firearm ownership rates doesn’t participate.
“I disagree with his position, respectfully. And I don’t think it’s in the interests of Queenslanders or the nation to not have national uniform laws,” Albanese said.
State Opposition Leader Steven Miles accused Crisafulli of undermining national gun law reform, and ignoring pleas from the families of two police officers killed in Wieambilla.
But the Premier has doubled down on the decision, instead electing to introduce Queensland’s own gun control legislation in the first sitting of state parliament in February.

“We’ve done it in a really calm way, and we’ve taken our time … our response is going to focus on the heart of the issue – anti-Semitism, hatred and guns in the hands of terrorists and criminals,” Crisafulli said.
“I don’t want that chaos in Queensland. I want Queenslanders to know that this has been dealt with in a very calm and a considered way.”
The Prime Minister has refused to give more details about how the plan, which could cost billions of dollars, would be paid for.
Good on Crisafulli for having some backbone to stand up to the federal agenda – it’s something you don’t see very often from any Australian politician, let alone a Premier.
This call follows an earlier pushback from Crisafulli against criticisms by the United Nations over Queensland’s tough youth crimes – stating that ‘he does not answer to the U.N’.
We shall wait to see what Crisafulli’s own gun reforms include when they are introduced.
Unlike Crisafulli, who seems like he actually wants to get to the root causes, the federal government has used the Bondi event as a means to further clamp down on citizens.
A classic case of ‘problem, reaction, solution’ at work yet again.
BONDI CONTROL
The Albanese government has not wasted any time in targeting absolutely everyone that has a gun or may ‘think the wrong thing’ in the aftermath of Bondi, like the jokers they are.
A range of state and federal officials and institutions instantly used the Bondi event for more control, including pushes for gun control reform, enhanced legislative restrictions, and further suppression and censorship of ‘extremist ideals’.

All while authorities are not addressing information that reveals at least one of the Bondi shooting characters was on a domestic terrorist watchlist in the years prior to the day.

That’s not important, apparently, but arresting people for Nazi symbols is. Got it.
Not to mention how this event has hallmark red flags of a False Flag at play, just like we saw 10 years ago with the Sydney Siege, and prior with Port Arthur.

The fact that weapons used in the event were legally owned by the father – despite the son’s prior intelligence interest – is a telling sign of deception. How was this ignored?
Anyone that has dealt with strict gun policies in this country knows this is a fairytale, as adam.fityaa explained in his recent video on Instagram:
So, why are law-abiding gun owners being targeted for intelligence failures?
How can these people have guns, yet over 40 so-called ‘sovereign citizens’ in Western Australia recently had their licenses cancelled for their ideologies alone?

The fact they somehow ‘missed’ the Bondi characters, while targeting free thinkers who may share different views to the government, is laughable.
Whether you believe this was a genuine event, or some type of false flag operation, the point remains the same: Everyday citizens concerned about their country, or legal gun owners, or critics of Israel, are not the ones at fault.
Let’s hope Crisafulli doesn’t try to do the same thing on his own, despite rejecting the federal government’s buyback scheme.

If Crisafulli were really smart, he would not participate in Albanese’s scheme and also leave Qld’s gun laws alone. A mate of mine here in SA, who has a law degree and is a gun owner, has examined gun laws. He says if it is a federal law, then they have to abide by the Constitution and fully compensate gun owners for market value, etc if forcing them to surrender guns. However, if it is a state law, people have to accept whatever the government pays, with no grounds for appeal, regardless of added value, e.g. a rare gun that is a collector’s item. Be careful what you wish for.
