THE BONDI REACTION

In typical fashion following a major news story like a ‘terror event’, the Australian government is quick to capitalise and twist the aftermath for more control, suppression, and progression of their anti-freedom agenda.

From calls for reformed gun control restrictions, to discussion on silencing ‘Neo-Nazis’ and ‘breeding grounds of hate’, everyone and everything will take the blame — except for intelligence agencies and culture-shifting government policies that are to blame.

Whether you believe this was a genuine event, or some type of false flag operation, the point remains the same: Everyday citizens concerned about their country, or legal gun owners, or critics of Israel, are not the ones at fault.

Take a look at how the power structure is already weaponising the Bondi event to their own ends below.

REFORMED GUN LAWS

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and other federal/state leaders have publicly supported action to strengthen Australia’s gun laws after the shooting, despite our nation already having some of the strictest in the world.

National Cabinet, which brings together the federal and state premiers, has agreed to work on a major overhaul of Australia’s gun laws — the most substantial since the 1996 Port Arthur reforms.

This includes options such as a National Firearms Register, limits on the number of guns an individual can own, use of intelligence checks in licensing, and citizenship requirements for gun licences.

In NSW, Premier Chris Minns announced that state parliament will be recalled urgently to pass firearm law changes before Christmas, including caps on ownership and reclassification of some firearm types.

Australia’s gun laws are widely considered among the world’s strongest after the Port Arthur False Flag in 1996, but officials say the Bondi attack shows there are still ‘loopholes and weaknesses that need to be addressed’.

Weaknesses? You mean in the internal operations of our intelligence agencies? One of the suspects was on a watchlist for years, yet it is the fault of the strict gun approval process? Why was his father able to partake in that process to begin with?

If you want to tell me ‘this is why further reform is needed’, you obviously haven’t experienced how tough the current process actually is and calculated the improbability of this being allowed to happen inside of it.

None of it makes sense, unless you are to take the position that the official story has massive holes in it.

Opposition figures and some commentators have argued that focusing too heavily on gun laws misses the real issue — extremist ideology or intelligence failures — and could be a smokescreen.

Nationals leader David Littleproud publicly criticised the emphasis on gun reform, saying it distracts from tackling ‘antisemitism’ and other root causes.

Some critics warn against “reactive” legislation that could unduly burden lawful firearm owners, arguing there is no certainty anything would change to meaningfully reduce terror risk.

Look what has happened with machete bins, existing gun laws, etc — the criminals end up with them one way or another, and if not, they will use alternative methods. Either these actions are out of their own will, or they have been provided with the tools — but the tools themselves are not the culprit for the actions of those who use them. Let’s make that clear.

Outside of the tools themselves, and focus to further restrict access to them, the government is also looking to tackle the ‘root causes’ of just acts — including a reignited Orwellian push against ‘hate speech’.

‘ANTISEMITISM’ AND ‘HATE SPEECH’

In the aftermath, Jewish leaders have expressed frustration that warnings over rising ‘antisemitism’ were “not sufficiently acted on” before the attack, and have called for “meaningful nationwide measures to tackle hatred, prejudice, and threats”.

In response, the Prime Minister and other cabinet officials have started explicitly condemning ‘antisemitism’ and ‘hate speech’ as a ‘grave threat’ to the country — signalling that legislative and social responses “need reinforcing”.

Albanese reiterated in his press conference that ‘antisemitism’ “must be countered”, and promised to act on recommendations from the antisemitism special envoy’s report, including stronger ‘hate speech laws’ and protections for Jewish Australians.

Former Treasurer Josh Frydenberg delivered a speech at Bondi calling for a royal commission into ‘antisemitism’ and the attack, bans on “hate preachers” and protests he described as “hate incubators”, and stronger enforcement against “extremist rhetoric”.

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has also established a Coalition-run ‘antisemitism, extremism and counterterrorism taskforce’.

A whole bunch of word-soup that will ultimately end up not coming back on those spewing actual hate in mosques, for example, but those who have legitimate criticisms against the state of Israel and Zionist control.

Let’s also not forget we already have criminal laws for actual threats of violence.

This isn’t about actual crimes, however, it is about the potential of a crime in true Minority Report fashion. Speaking out against Israel may lead you to one day shoot up Bondi beach, so we must restrict your ability to think and speak.

Speaking of Israel, Netanyahu has come out and blamed Australia’s policy decisions — including our recognition of a Palestinian state — for “fuelling antisemitism”.

He says that the Australian government has failed to act strongly enough against ‘antisemitism’ rising domestically.

Don’t forget that the government has already passed laws criminalising ‘hate speech’, banning Nazi symbols, and outlawing doxxing.. but more needs to be done, apparently.

Which is where we come to the so-called ‘Nazis’ that exist in Australia — who are now also copping some of the criticism and blame for radical islamists on ASIO watchlists. Somehow, they are involved in this too, say authorities.

NEO-NAZIS

While authorities have not blamed neo-Nazis for the attack specifically, some commentators and political figures have expressed concern about ‘far-right’ and ‘neo-Nazi’ movements more broadly in the wake of the shooting.

Commentators warn “fringe extremists” may try to exploit public fear after the attack — not because they were involved, but because such events often become rallying points for other radical groups online, or in political movement spaces.

This concern has included calls from opposition figures and some analysts to “confront all forms of extremism”, including ‘neo-Nazism’, alongside ‘antisemitism’ and ‘hate speech’.

You really can’t make this stuff up, ladies and gentlemen.

THOUGHTS

Over the past few decades, Australia has been on a slow tiptoe towards totalitarianism, and one of the hallmarks of a tyrannical society is the inability to speak of think freely.

‘Hate speech’ restrictions, as we have previously explained on this website, are a sure-fire way to find your society in a state of pre-crime paranoia and hysteria — where any criticisms against anyone are treated with potential criminal consequences.

There are actual hate crimes — such as excluding a person from a building based on their skin colour, or violently assaulting or threatening to assault someone based on their religious beliefs.

But for one to now be targeted for speech that may lead to these crimes? Not a good path to be on at all.

Especially when you can be arrested for making a ‘Nazi salute’ (or was I waving to someone?), or targeted for displaying a symbol — even if you haven’t threatened or discriminated against anyone to begin with.

These are dangerous times in Australia, once the ‘lucky country’.

Now reduced to a melting point of mixed, clashing ideologies, corrupt government officials, incompetent intelligence agencies, and an institutional desire to destroy everything that made Australia great in the first place.
