JAB CAMPAIGN RESTARTED
A taxpayer-funded flu vaccination campaign will be restarted after failing to work on two-thirds of eligible Queenslanders, it has been announced.
The state government came under fire last week for spending just $675,000 on advertising campaigns to encourage Queenslanders to get a flu shot.
Health Minister Tim Nicholls has defended the amount of money spent on promoting flu jabs, despite a dismal 17.5 per cent vaccination rate across the state.
Queensland is the only jurisdiction that offers free flu vaccine to all residents, and not just people deemed “most at risk” under the National Immunisation Program.

And still, the people don’t want it.
Federal health department data shows influenza vaccination rates dropped significantly in every Australian state and territory since the COVID ‘pandemic’.
“We haven’t actually convinced the general public, and we haven’t convinced general practitioners and pharmacists, about how important it is to get vaccinated,” says Griffith University epidemiologist and public health physician, Paul Van Buynder.
Van Buynder said “clearer messaging about the benefits of flu vaccination” was needed from government, public health authorities and medical practitioners to “reverse the current trend of vaccine hesitancy and fatigue”.

Queensland Health Minister, Shannon Fentiman, said vaccination hesitancy has become a “worldwide challenge” since the COVID ‘pandemic’.
“Just like during COVID, we’re seeing the huge majority of influenza hospitalisations linked to unvaccinated people, which is causing pressure on our busy hospital emergency departments,” Fentiman commented.
It’s exactly because of nonsense like that as to why nobody is taking the jab.

Give me a break.
The campaign isn’t working because people can see through the lies and propaganda, it is that simple. They are starting to think for themselves after being locked down like animals, at least when it comes to vaccines.
Which is exactly why they need to spend millions of dollars trying to convince people that the bogeyman virus is still a threat, and that they need to get jabbed as soon as possible.
Despite their setbacks, they plan to continue this push for the rest of the decade.
IMMUNISATION STRATEGY
This isn’t the first year in our post-COVID world that federal and state governments have failed to regain trust in public medicine.
In 2023, a range of immunisation ‘experts’ gathered for a private summit to discuss how to ‘boost vaccination rates’ and ‘combat vaccine fatigue’.

“I am concerned about declining vaccination rates and confidence. We cannot allow vaccination fatigue, conspiracy theories, and cost-of-living pressures to undermine our vaccination rates,” Fentiman said in the lead-up to it.
This was right before launching their (now failed) 2024-2025 free flu jab campaign.
An epic fail, but one that won’t deter them.
In June, the Australian federal government announced a new National Immunisation Strategy for the timeframe of 2025-30.
The strategy largely seeks to reduce vaccine hesitancy and improve access to vaccinations, particularly in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

As of 11 April 2025, only a fifth of all Australians aged 75 and over have received a vaccination in the past six months, and statistics for those under 65 were as low as 1.5%.
Less than half of aged care residents are up to date with their COVID-19 jabs as well — which has prompted a clinical alert to be issued by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.

A press release noted the commission’s Chief Clinical Advisor was “concerned about persistently low COVID-19 vaccination rates across many residential aged care homes”.
Not very good numbers for the biopharma lobby, and so, the TV screens are back hard at work to convince those individuals the ‘deadly virus’ is around every corner.
Just this month, another ‘outbreak’ has reportedly emerged in an aged care facility.
Yes, in 2025, we are still seeing this type of desperate propaganda.
This is despite pre-Trump guidelines from the CDC stating you ‘should now follow the same precautions with COVID as you take with the flu’.

We will see how QLD’s free flu jab campaign works on a second attempt, and if the mass media machine can assist to get those dismal statistics higher again.
Given that social media age verification is coming in at the end of the year, ultimately designed to eliminate the flow of alternative information on the topic, they might not have as much opposition to their messaging (as truthers flee for other websites).
But I feel like the damage has already been done, and it will take a generation that doesn’t remember the ‘pandemic’ to really get those statistics up again.
Because for those that lived through it, they will never forget how vaccines were weaponised against them and their loved ones.
