Bayer forced to cough up more compensation.
BAYER CASE RESULT
Bayer is once again in the firing line over Monsanto’s cancer-causing chemical, Roundup.
A jury has handed down a $2.25 billion verdict against the agrochemical giant, according to the lawyers of a man who said he developed cancer from using the company’s weed killer.
John McKivison, 49, filed a lawsuit in Philadelphia against the company after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which he said was due to using Roundup on his property for 20 years.
A jury returned a unanimous verdict, finding that Roundup was a cancer-causing product, that Monsanto was negligent, and that Monsanto failed to warn about the dangers of Roundup.

“The jury’s punitive damages award sends a clear message that this multi-national corporation needs top to bottom change,” they said, calling the verdict “…a condemnation of 50 years of misconduct by Monsanto.”
In an emailed statement, Bayer, Monsanto’s parent company, said it planned to appeal the verdict and what it called the “unconstitutionally excessive” damages.
Shut up and pay up, clowns.
It said the jury’s verdict “…conflicts with the overwhelming weight of scientific evidence and worldwide regulatory and scientific assessments” on Roundup.
Yeah, the ‘science’ from the (bought-and-paid-for) ‘experts’.
But even then, the evidence has now become so undeniable that even WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer found in 2015 that glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans.”

The German pharmaceutical giant Bayer acquired U.S. agrochemical company Monsanto, the inventor and producer of Roundup, in 2018. And it has been a rough road for the organisation ever since (rightfully so).
In a similar class action that began late last year, an Australian federal court was told that Monsanto-produced weedkiller has caused non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which the company denies.

This is the chemical that is dangerously sprayed over forests from aeroplanes as part of “weed management” programs here in Australia, often with no evaluation of unintended consequences.
This is the same company that is now using CRISPR-Cas9 genetic engineering capabilities to engineer soil microbes as a ‘solution’ for worldwide soil deuteriation (which they are largely responsible for).
But the tide is certainly turning for Bayer and their company Monsanto, as courts across the world hear challenges from impacted farmers and gardeners who used their products for decades.
A well-deserved day of reckoning is unfolding for the corporate giant.
DAY OF RECKONING
Many of the cases we are seeing are solely focused on the ingredient glyphosate, introduced as a herbicide by Monsanto in 1974, which inhibits a certain enzyme in most plants, preventing them from growing. Monsanto also introduced genetically modified crops that are resistant to glyphosate.
Authorities are desperately trying to combat a wave of lawsuits against Bayer, like the criminals they are.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency found in 2020 that “…there are no risks of concern to human health when glyphosate is used in accordance with its current label”.
They also stated that “…glyphosate is unlikely to be a human carcinogen.”
The European Commission also said last year that “…based on an assessment of all available information, there is currently no evidence to classify glyphosate as being carcinogenic.”
Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency has continued the approval of its use.
This is despite a wave of rulings against the company for causing the cancer of many individuals.
Bayer agreed in 2020 to pay about $10 billion in a settlement to tens of thousands of claimants over the allegation that Roundup causes non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, without admitting wrongdoing.
But fresh claims against it have continued since then. It won a case on Dec. 22 in California, lost a case on Dec. 5 in Pennsylvania, and lost a case on Nov. 17 in Missouri, according to the company.

I remember attending a rally against Monsanto in 2013, covered here on TOTT News, where campaigners were calling for accountability. Over a decade later now, and the wishes are finally becoming a reality.
Over the years, Monsanto has faced significant backlash to their actions, with Roundup and with their takeover of the food industry with visions of a GMO future.
They are one of the main groups responsible for the monopolisation and privatisation of our seeds, which strangles the free market and ensures near-total control of the industry.
The impacts of their products have caused untold damage to the planet, and not imaginary environmental issues like ‘climate change’, but real endocrine-disrupting chemical poisoning.
I personally would love to see a world where Bayer and Monsanto are no longer around.
Let’s hope there is still enough faith in the legal system to bring these companies down!

That’s a hefty payout for sure. Demonstrates the power of one. Imagine if there were another 1000 similar lawsuits…and that is really just a small number given how widely glyphosate has been used for decades.
I knew about Roundup being Carcinogenic nice to know that Bayer needs to pay over 2 Billion USD.
I am looking forward to when Pfizer and Moderna get sued for Billions for their Experimental Gene Therapy Inoculations and also 5G with EMF which also gives symptoms of the Flu which is not a conspiracy theory anymore…
