Who were some of the forces at play behind the scenes? Dr. T.J Coles examines infiltration of the right and left, at the benefit of the deep state.
On 6th January, hundreds of thousands of pro-Donald Trump demonstrators gathered at the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, to protest what they called “Stop the Steal,” after several commentators, including the President, claimed that the November 2020 election was rigged.
Several protestors breached the Capitol for a variety of reasons. Some wanted to execute Congress members whom they regarded as traitors. Others wanted to capture them for treason. Some looked for evidence of electoral fraud. Some were swept up in the excitement.
But evidence suggests that the leaders of the coup plot — or counter-coup, depending on your viewpoint — were Deep State actors leading their followers into a trap to ensure that the riot/insurrection failed.
QANON, OATH KEEPERS & PROUD BOYS
To begin, let’s take a look at the right side of the geopolitical sphere. Groups described as “far-right” by mainstream media have many informants and ex-military in their ranks.
Watkins, who specialised in computing, told a journalist during an interview (unprompted) that he ‘does not work for the CIA’. If QAnon isn’t a psychological operation, it has at least been infiltrated.
The website became notorious for users posting child pornography under the banner of ‘free publishing’. They were delisted from Google’s search results after increased underage content.
Amidst the controversy, this platform also became a major hub to promote QAnon.
At the time of the riots, veteran and 113th Security Forces Squadron reservist at Washington, DC, Ashli Babbitt, was shot and killed at the Capitol. We all are familiar with this story.
An FBI Phoenix Field Office report cites “a technical source with direct access” to the organisation.
Who could this possibly be? Why did 8chan become a hub for these discussions?
Jake Angeli Chansley, also known the ‘QAnon Shaman’, turned out to be a former US Navy supply clerk.
The FBI describes the Oath Keepers as a paramilitary organisation founded in 2009 by a former US paratrooper, Elmer Stewart Rhodes.
The Comfort Inn chain uses Initiate to identify guests. In preparation for Stop the Steal, Oath Keeper Thomas Caldwell “strongly recommend[ed]” that his colleagues stay in the Comfort Inn, near CIA HQ.
On the day, Captain Emily Rainey of North Carolina led a group called ‘Moore County Citizens for Freedom’ into the Capitol. Rainey had received training from the 4th Psychological Operations Group (4POG) at Fort Bragg, NC.
Referring to its courses, 4POG says: “PSYOP Soldiers come armed with imagery, graphics and expressions to develop and deliver the right message at the right time and place to get the results needed.”
Rainey learned “how to persuade enemy, neutral and friendly nations and forces to take favorable actions toward the U.S. and its allies.”
A posting board run by suspicious characters becoming the hub of discussions, FBI sources on the ground, prominent figures linked to the military and protesters led to a facial recognition hotel.
Let’s not take a look at the left’s path to the Capitol.
ANARCHISTS, ANTIFA & BLACK LIVES MATTER
In the 1930s, Antifaschistische Aktion (AA) opposed General Franco in Spain, Benito Mussolini in Italy, and Adolf Hitler in Germany. ANTIFA is AA’s successor.
Adherents usually dress in black and support anarchism: rule by mutual consent, not by governments or corporate bosses. But the looseness of the organisation makes ANTIFA easy to infiltrate.
Pro-Trump Proud Boys announced before 6th January that their members would pose as ANTIFA.
Proud Boys chairman and FBI informant, Enrique Tarrio, wrote: “We might dress in all BLACK for the occasion.” Organiser, Joe Biggs, said: “We will be blending in as one of you. You won’t see us. You’ll even think we are you.”
Footage emerged of “ANTIFA” breaking Capitol Building windows and genuine, peaceful Trump supporters trying to stop them. Divide and conquer. Agent provocateurs everywhere.
On the left, John Sullivan claims to be associated with Black Lives Matter, but real grassroots community organisers warn not to work with Sullivan, who has an illuminati all-seeing-eye tattoo on his right hand.
John’s brother, James, established the pro-Trump organisation, Civilized Awakening (CA).
The Sullivan brothers set up violent dialects between the far-left and far-right.
For instance, in September 2020 in Provo, Utah, John had turned a real BLM protest violent and James attended the event to counter BLM.
In the months leading up to the riots, the well-funded John offered weapons training for militant leftists via his organisation, Insurgence USA.
Disguised as a BLM journalist, John entered the Capitol on 6th and filmed himself breaking a window and inciting rioters to breach the Speakers Lobby (sic), telling the crowd: “I’ve got a knife!”
For reasons unknown, the police disbanded, leaving the mob to break the windows of the doors as an armed police unit ascended the adjacent staircase.
After what appears to be the arrival of a Secret Service man, the armed unit descended the staircase.
By an amazing coincidence, John the provocateur was present and captured on video the shooting of Security Forces Squadron reservist Babbitt (mentioned above) by the US Capitol Hill Police.
An FBI agent questioned John and watched his video (including the property damage and incitement), but the judge released him on bail. Being black, John feeds the right’s false, racist narrative: that while they go to jail and see their social media accounts deleted, black leftists go free.
Posing and introduced as a BLM activist and journalist, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, himself a former CIA intern, interviewed John shortly after the Capitol breach. John was portrayed as a genuine independent journalist there to document the events. Cooper did not mention John’s violence.
The events looked like a giant set up. During the televised debate with Joe Biden, Trump told his armed supporters to “stand back and stand by.”
Trump then fired Défense Secretary, Mark Esper, and replaced him with a counterinsurgency and psychological operations expert, Officer Christopher Miller.
Why did some entries to the Capitol appear to be authorized? Two days before the insurrection, procedure was changed to permit National Guard deployment only on the authorization of Miller.
On 19th December 2020, Trump tweeted: “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”
Using right-wing social media, some pro-Trumpers trended #stormthecapital.
In the week before the riots, Republican representative Lauren Boebert allegedly gave future rioters a reconnaissance tour of the Capitol Building.
A few days before the rally, Trump lawyer and QAnon follower, Lin Wood, posted that Pence should face execution by firing squad if he certifies the election for Biden. On 6th, Trump lawyer Rudolph Giuliani told the crowd to prepare for “trial by combat.”
Alex Jones of InfoWars was not arrested, despite claiming to have funded the protest — though urged for peace throughout — to the tune of $500,000.
By provoking violence, the Deep State achieved many goals.
It torpedoed Trump’s efforts to overturn the election, justified potential strict antiterrorism laws, gave a free hand to social media giants to censor whoever they wish, and legitimised the neoliberal corporate project by giving the impression that the only alternative is Trump.
The only beneficiaries of this sad chapter in US history are, as always, the elites and their almighty state.
