‘DIVERSE MANNEQUINS’

Logan Hospital has introduced non-white training mannequins as part of a wider push to ‘diversify medical clinical education’ across Queensland’s public health system.

The initiative forms part of a broader “simulation-based training upgrade” delivered through the hospital’s education and simulation services, which they say aims to “better reflect the diversity of patients treated in Australian healthcare settings”.

The mannequins are now being used in basic life support and emergency response training sessions for clinical staff – including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.

Health officials say the update is designed to “ensure that healthcare workers are trained using equipment that more accurately represents the real-world population”.

Medical training tools have historically been based largely on standardised patient models used for decades, typically looking ‘white skinned’.

Queensland Health is now arguing that this can “unintentionally limit exposure to variation in skin tone and presentation of certain clinical signs”.

The department says training across a ‘wider range of skin tones’ is seen “as a way to improve clinical confidence and reduce the risk of misinterpretation in real patient care”.

What an absolute joke.

The comments are turned off on Facebook due to negative backlash, particularly surrounding the point it doesn’t matter what skin colour the patient is when suffocating.

Just more cultural marxist ‘diversity’ anti-white nonsense.

The initiative sits within a broader health equity strategy led by Metro South Health, which oversees Logan Hospital and other facilities in the region.

The programme aligns with wider objectives in Queensland’s public health system to “improve culturally safe care and reduce disparities in health outcomes”.

Typically, in a hospital, simulation suites are used to replicate emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure and trauma care – all not relating to skin colour.

Instead, the department says the change is being used to prompt discussion among staff about ‘unconscious bias’, ‘diagnostic assumptions’, and ‘the importance of recognising how symptoms may present differently across diverse patient groups’.

Give me a break.

The development reflects a wider trend across healthcare systems internationally, where simulation centres are increasingly incorporating ‘diversity’ into training equipment.

This includes variation in skin tone, age, body shape, and more – arguing that such realism is ‘essential in preparing clinicians for the complexity of real-world patient care’.

Ridiculous stuff.

Perhaps, if they spent more time focusing on what is really important, Logan Hospital wouldn’t be ranked as one of the worst hospitals in the country across many metrics.

They are repeatedly flagged for pressure issues, long wait times, and high demand.

For instance, Logan Hospital is reported as having among the worst ramping rates in Queensland at times (meaning ambulances waiting outside ED due to bed shortages).

Internal health system reviews have described periods where the ED was under “very high” pressure with risk of delayed care due to crowding.

Media investigations have linked delays and overcrowding with adverse outcomes in some cases, especially during peak COVID-era enforcement measures.

Yet, instead of addressing these issues, Logan Hospital are introducing dark-skinned mannequins to help ‘diversity in education’.

What a clown world we live in.

A world where the woke mind virus has infiltrated every section of society, in an attempt to re-shape the human species as we know it.

In the 21^st century, we have the LGBTQ+ lobby continuously pushing for things like the end of gender and language associated with it, infiltrating schools, the media, and government.

Today, we see a variety of stories that make the average person shake their heads – and although things are a little better now, there was a time when it was dangerous to speak out against this radical transformation of the realities of humans and society.

For example, ‘gender equality’ mythology has permeated our culture, with states calling for the removal of sex from birth certificates and greater DEI policies to ‘close the pay gap’.

Because, at the end of the day, isn’t breaking ‘race biases’ more important than your life?
