REFINERY EXPLOSIONS AND FIRES

A major fire and series of explosions at the Geelong Oil Refinery in Victoria has prompted widespread concern over fuel supply and sparked online speculation about the timing of the incident – coincidently coinciding with similar events happening across the world.

Australia’s refinery, operated by Viva Energy, experienced an incident late on the evening of 15 April 2026, with emergency services responding to reports of large flames and multiple explosions shortly before 11pm. Fire crews battled the blaze for more than 12 hours.

Around 50 firefighters were involved in containing the fire, working under challenging conditions due to the presence of highly flammable materials and the risk of further explosions. Authorities have confirmed that no injuries were reported.

Investigations remain ongoing, and officials have emphasised that it is too early to determine the precise cause. Initial assessments indicate the incident was likely caused by an ‘equipment failure’, that led to a leak of hydrocarbons, which subsequently ignited.

The Geelong refinery is one of Australia’s most significant fuel processing facilities, supplying roughly half of Victoria’s fuel demand and approximately 10 per cent of the nation’s total refined fuel.

As a result, the disruption has raised concerns about potential impacts on fuel availability and prices, particularly amid already tight global energy markets.

In the wake of the incident, speculation has emerged online regarding the timing of the explosion, with some questioning whether it could be linked to broader economic or geopolitical factors – with such claims circulating widely on social media.

Many Australians are suspicious at the timing of this event, with even mainstream reporters questioning government officials on what exactly is going on. To which they squirm as usual:

Ross Stidolph, the former Engineering and Maintenance Manager at BP’s Kwinana Oil Refinery south of Perth, said such incidents were “extremely uncommon”.

Stidolph said fires and explosions were by far the biggest risks to oil refineries and, as a result, overwhelming efforts went towards “identifying and mitigating” the threats.

In other words, they are well prepared for this type of thing.

He told reporters these protective measures often involved safeguards to isolate sources of fuel, which could make a fire worse, and designs to ensure particularly sensitive equipment such as compressors were well away from sources of heat.

Stidolph noted it was “very rare” for major fires to break out at refining facilities in Australia or other developed countries.

“You spend a lot of time and effort making sure that they don’t occur,” Mr Stidolph said.

Government agencies and the refinery operator have stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted, with findings expected to ‘clarify the sequence of events’.

This still hasn’t stopped discussion surrounding the timing of the event.

When was the last time you heard of a major oil refinery catching fire in Australia?

Somehow it happens right as we are in the middle of a society-shifting oil ‘crisis’?

Give me a break.

Questions have only intensified as more reports emerge of other countries experiencing the same type of emergencies to their own refineries, including in the U.S, India, and Mexico.

In March, residents of a Texas city were urged to shelter in place following an explosion and fire at a Valero oil refinery that sent massive plumes of smoke billowing into the air. 

Earlier that month, at least five people were killed in Mexico in a fire at the Dos Bocas oil refinery, which was ‘sparked by poor weather’, the state oil company Pemex said.

There has now been a second fire that broke out days ago – where 150 emergency specialists helped to tackle the ⁠flames, including navy and defense personnel.

In India, early-April, the state-owned energy giant Oil and Natural Gas Limited (ONGC) reported a fire at an offshore platform, with the incident left multiple workers injured.

At the time of reporting, we have also seen reports that a fire and hydrocarbon leak has also just occurred at the HPCL Rajasthan Refineryin Rajasthan, India.

I would like to stress that all of these events have occurred between March-April – the span of one month. This is not even looking at any that may have occurred before then.

Of course, we can’t forget about explosions in Russia, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries, mainly due to drone attacks from the so-called ‘wars’ that are occurring.

But are they really occurring? Or is this another guise to take those regions out as well?

Lots of eyebrows are being understandably raised in many countries right now.

One thing is for sure: These events fit perfectly into the visions of the world’s elitist parasites, who look to transition us towards the Agenda 2030 framework.

ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORISM

The current trajectory of ‘natural disasters’ and ‘refinery meltdowns’ play right into the hands of the ‘powers that be’, who will use these events to further progress their changes.

This type of activity has been around for a while, and the targeting of large-scale industrial projects in the name of a particular cause is nothing new.

We witnessed scattered incidents of eco-terrorism across Australia in the late 1990s-early 2000s by Earth Liberation Front, where construction sites were set on fire, logging equipment was sabotaged, developments were targeted, and more.

But old school environmentalists are nothing compared to what the government is doing.

In 2019, we explored how ‘bad actors’ were likely involved in the infamous mass bushfires that spread across the east coast of Australia – including known arsonists – conveniently burning in locations where ‘smart city’ infrastructure was planned.

This was clearly an agenda to ‘build back better’ over the top of the ruins – now bought up by private investors after insurance companies drove residents out of the areas.

Then, we saw similar wildfires occur in Los Angeles, Maui, Spain, and Chile – all regions where natural disasters seemed to target regions earmarked for ‘smart city’ upgrades.

More recently, in January 2026, TOTT News reported on yet more fires ravaging southern Argentina, threatening protected forests and prompting criminal inquiries into their origins.

Is this all just a ‘coincidence’ as well? When will people start to entertain the notion that, potentially, powerful entities do this intentionally for an agenda?
