PFIZER JAB AND EYE HEALTH

A recent study from Turkey has raised concerns about even more potential side effects of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine — the latest in a long list of recent ‘discoveries’.

This time, it is related to eye health.

According to research published in the journal Ophthalmic Epidemiology, the vaccine may lead to minor structural changes in the cornea, which is the transparent front part of the eye.

Researchers studied the eyes of 64 people before and after they received both doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

They found that while participants didn’t experience any noticeable vision loss, there were “some measurable changes in their corneal health”.

This included “a slight thickening of the cornea”, “a decrease in the number of endothelial cells” (which help keep the cornea clear), and “changes in cell structure”.

The study found that corneal thickness increased by about 2 per cent, from an average of 528 micrometres to 542 micrometres. More significantly, there was an 8 per cent drop in the endothelial cell count, from 2,597 to 2,378 cells per square millimetre.

Endothelial cells are critical because they regulate fluid and maintain corneal clarity.

Any long-term reduction in these cells can potentially lead to swelling, blurry vision, or complications in individuals with existing eye conditions.

The findings were gathered using advanced eye imaging technologies, including Sirius corneal topography and Tomey EM-4000 specular microscopy. 

While the research did not find any cases of vision loss, the scientists said these subtle changes may be signs of stress or inflammation caused by the vaccine.

They urged regular monitoring in individuals with already low endothelial cell counts, or those who have undergone transplants at any time in their lives.

This isn’t the first time eyes have been explored, either.

Previous studies have looked at ocular adverse effects possibly associated with COVID-19 vaccination, and discusses their clinical characteristics and management.

“Ocular adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccinations include facial nerve palsy, abducens nerve palsy, acute macular neuroretinopathy, central serous retinopathy, thrombosis, uveitis, multiple evanescent white dot syndrome, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease reactivation, and new-onset Graves’ Disease,” reads one 2021 study.

Surprise, surprise, ladies and gentlemen.

Yet another ‘unexpected’ adverse event caused by the COVID-19 vaccine — who would have guessed.

This new research fits into a broader conversation about ‘rare’ side effects of mRNA, which have turned out to not be so rare after all. Story after story, headline after headline, week after week.

‘Safe and effective’ has quickly changed to ‘another side effect discovered’.

TRUE JAB IMPACTS

Over five years on from the beginning of the ‘big event’, the COVAX operation not only made the producers billions of dollars, but mostly everything the ‘conspiracy theorists’ said about the jabs was true.

Yet, the Australian government is still pushing ahead with their vaccine agenda.

They recently announced a new National Immunisation Strategy for the timeframe of 2025-30, which sets out their priorities for “improving vaccine uptake for children, adolescents and adults over the next five years”.

They are also wanting to increase jab rates again.

According to the latest statistics, only 1.5% of Australians aged between 18-64 years old have received a COVID booster in the past six months, and the over 75 years old statistics have caused a clinical alert to be issued.

Why?

Because the big, bad bogeyman, COVID-19, is still out there!

Just yesterday, news was released reporting “dozens of aged care residents dying of COVID-19 each week as facilities grapple with more than 240 outbreaks nationwide”.

The mad cycle continues on and on, with no regard for the human impacts that may occur.

What ‘rare’ side effect will be discovered next?

Going by the release rate of headlines recently, we should only have to wait about a week or two to find out.
