A tipping point in the ‘culture wars’?
SUPREME COURT RULING
The U.K Supreme Court has ruled that a woman is someone born biologically female, excluding “transgender” people from the legal definition.
Five judges unanimously ruled “biological sex is what defines a woman”, according to law.
The court upheld an appeal by a campaign group on whether transgender women are legally women under equality legislation.

This judgement related to whether a “trans woman” with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) – a formal document that gives legal recognition of someone’s new gender – is protected from discrimination as a woman under Britain’s Equality Act.
“The unanimous decision of this court is that the terms ‘women’ and ‘sex’ in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex,” Supreme Court Deputy President Patrick Hodge said.
The decision means “trans women” can be barred from places such as women-only change rooms and homeless shelters, the Associated Press said.
They can also be kept from groups offering medical or counselling services only to women.
The supreme court emphasised that the ruling did not diminish a “transgender” person’s protections against direct discrimination, but it said certain protections should apply only to biological females and not “transgender women”.
How did this all come about?
Campaign group, For Women Scotland (FWS), had argued sex discrimination protections should only apply based on a person’s biological sex.

The case stems from a 2018 law passed by the Scottish Parliament saying 50 per cent of the membership of the boards of Scottish public bodies should be women.
“Transgender women” with gender recognition certificates were to be included in meeting the quota.
Aidan O’Neill, a lawyer for FWS, told the Supreme Court judges – three men and two women – that under the Equality Act, “sex” should refer to biological sex and as understood “in ordinary, everyday language.”
“Our position is your sex, whether you are a man or a woman or a girl or a boy is determined from conception in utero, even before one’s birth, by one’s body,” he said.
“It is an expression of one’s bodily reality. It is an immutable biological state.”
The women’s rights group counted among its supporters author J.K Rowling, who reportedly donated tens of thousands of pounds to back its work.
The Harry Potter writer has been vocal in arguing that the rights for “trans women” should not come at the expense of those who are born biologically female.
The British government welcomed the latest ruling, saying it would provide clarity and confidence for women.
“Single-sex spaces are protected in law and will always be protected by this government,” it said.
Scotland’s semi-autonomous government said it also accepted the judgement.
“We will now engage on the implications of the ruling,” First Minister John Swinney posted.
“Protecting the rights of all will underpin our actions.”

THE PC PUSHBACK
It seems like such a commonsense decision, and the fact this U.K case is worldwide news highlights just how far the world has gone off the rails in recent years.
‘A Woman is a Woman’. Pretty simple stuff, you would think?
But over the last decade, mass programming has drawn this simple notion into doubt in the minds of millions of people, highlighted by Matt Walsh’s mini-documentary exploring this question – what is a “woman”?
After being viewed over 100 million times, it attracted significant controversy amongst the ‘woke mob’.

PC culture has stifled open dialogue, created a culture of fear, and has led to societal consequences. We have explored the rise of the cultural marxist cult on the website.
But it seems the tides are turning back in the opposite direction at present.
The pushback against PC culture, or political correctness, has increased in recent years – fuelled by concerns about its impacts on free speech, social interactions, and the potential for overzealousness in addressing sensitive topics.
The re-election of Donald Trump seemed to be a cornerstone in this turn, soon signing executive orders to remove additional genders and “trans women” from competing in women’s sport.

The same type of shift seems to be happening in Australia, at least amongst the people. The media and establishment is still firmly on board with the PC Culture War Hoax.
A glance at the Australia Talks breakdown of attitudes by voting record provides confirmation of how tribal the tug-of-war between duelling freedoms — freedom of speech on one hand, and freedom from discrimination on the other — has become.
Among One Nation voters, 98 per cent agree that political correctness has gone too far. Among Greens voters, only 29 per cent agree. The sentiment has the support of a narrow majority — 52 per cent — of Labor voters, while 88 per cent of those who voted LNP at the last election agree.

Despite this, in the public eye, the threats of the cultural marxist cult still remain.
