Yet more proof of Big Pharma’s harms?
ADHD STUDY
New research has found ADHD medications do not improve the quality of life of patients.
The study, published in The Lancet Psychiatry, provides the most comprehensive review of evidence on ADHD treatments in adults to-date, psychiatrist and lead author Dr. Edoardo Ostinelli said.
Although it found medication helps with the direct effects of ADHD in the short-term, they also discovered the drugs did not improve their overall quality of life and there wasn’t enough evidence to draw conclusions about the effects of ADHD treatments in the long-term.

Stimulant medications, such as dexamphetamine and methylphenidate (commonly known as Ritalin), are said increase the amount of key neurotransmitters in the brain, which reportedly can help people with ‘ADHD’ focus and complete tasks more easily. (Yes, I know that the very existence of ADHD is questionable itself).
The study also highlighted a “significant gap in evidence” for the long-term effects of ADHD treatments, Dr. Hannah Kirk from Monash University added.
“Given that ADHD is a lifelong condition for many individuals, it is essential that sustained, effective interventions are available”, she said.
“As such, research needs to move beyond short-term symptom control and focus on long-term outcomes that truly improve daily life for those with ADHD.”
For some people, ADHD medications can reduce appetite and interfere with sleep, and their long-term use has been linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Ostinelli agreed that additional research should focus on long-term evaluation of medicines and non-pharmacological interventions, with the goal of being able to personalise treatment in the future.
I know many people who have been ‘diagnosed’ with ‘ADHD’ in recent years, and the negative impacts can clearly be seen in users, particularly those who have a strong trust-complex with Big Pharma.
But, yet again, the industries and ‘solutions’ they offer are being exposed for the shams that they are.
ADHD and the medication that goes with it is just one example of deceptions that are coming to the light.
SHAMS FALLING APART
The legal drug-pushers that destroy lives and tell lies are no longer able to hide behind the façade.
New research continues to shine light on the plethora of deceptions at play in this industry, including with depression — recently conclusively finding that is in fact not caused by a ‘chemical imbalance’.
The breakthrough study was published in Molecular Psychiatry and calls into question the theory that depression can be cured with antidepressants.
According to the study, there is no clear evidence that depression is caused by low serotonin levels.

For years, they pushed the lies that they can ‘fix’ everything with prescription pills.
In a 2018 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers found that a concentrated dose of Ibuprofen taken by young, healthy men, is linked to a testicular condition that causes infertility.
Not just that, but the alternative — paracetamol — has been found to be no more effective than a placebo when it comes to treating many common pain conditions, a 2021 Australian study highlighted.
In fact, doctors are fully aware they are prescribing placebos most of the time.
A survey by Associate Professor Ben Colagiuri from the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney, and Dr Kate Faasse from the University of New South Wales, examined rates of use and beliefs about placebos in the journal The Australian Journal of General Practice.
The key findings revealed 77% of GPs had offered an active placebo (such as antibiotics for a virus):
Driven by profit and power, the pharmaceutical industry has shown no regard for personal safety or legal regulations, as consumers continue to trust companies caught intentionally lying to the public, promoting products underpinned by non-objective science and deception.
From October 2014 to September 2015 alone, member companies of pharmaceutical trade association, Medicines Australia, disclosed payments of $89,658,566 to healthcare professionals, including millions in direct cash payments disguised as fees.
Drug companies in Australia have a turnover of approximately $22 billion, and it’s only been on the rise since then, developing new products for companies to market aggressively.
Not to mention that a large majority of scientific papers underpinning the ‘evidence’ of safety that regulates the medicine have turned out to be fraudulent all along.
Yet, despite all of the findings, millions of people remain trapped in the spell each and every year.
Trusting perhaps the most un-trustable entity on Earth to help ‘fix them’.
When they cause the problem, and profit off them being sick, in the first place.
