More deals struck between the three nations.
NEW AGREEMENT
From underwater drones to “electronic warfare”, the U.S. is expanding its high-tech military cooperation with Australia and the United Kingdom, it has been announced.
U.S. Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin recently met with defence chiefs from Australia and the U.K. at the military’s defence technology hub in Silicon Valley to forge the new agreement.
Austin met with Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles and Grant Shapps, the British Secretary of State for Defence, at the Defence Innovation Unit headquarters.
The new deal with “increase technology cooperation and information sharing” between nations.
The goal, according to a joint statement, is to be able to ‘better address security challenges’ and to “contribute to stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.”
Speaking at a news conference after the meeting, Austin said the effort will, for example, rapidly accelerate the sophistication of the drone systems, and prove that “we are stronger together.”
The new agreement also sets up a series of military exercises involving the use of undersea and surface maritime drones, and improves the ability of the three countries to share intelligence and data collected by their sonobuoys. The buoys are used to detect submarines and other objects in the water.
It also calls for plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence, including on P-8A surveillance aircraft, to more quickly process data from the buoys in order to improve anti-submarine warfare.
Finally, it also says the three countries will establish new radar sites to beef up their ability to detect and track objects in deep space, as the race to control the ‘outer skies’ ramps up too.
The new technology agreement is the next step in a widening military co-operation with Australia that was first announced in 2021 and has made extensive progress this year.
AUKUS PARTNERSHIP
AUKUS is an acronym for Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The three nations have laid out plans for the AUKUS partnership over the past few years.
Earlier this year, the U.S. announced it would expand its military industrial base by helping Australia manufacture guided missiles and rockets for both countries within two years.
Under that agreement, the U.S. would co-operate on Australia’s production of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems by 2025, helping to ‘better equip’ our nation for the future.
Prior to this deal, it was also announced Australia will buy three Virginia-class submarines from the United States and build five of a new “AUKUS-class submarines” in co-operation with Britain.

The submarines, powered by U.S-supplied nuclear technology, would not carry nuclear weapons (because they are a hoax) and would be built in Adelaide.
Although I am a sceptic of the concept of ‘war’, I also don’t claim to be the chief of all wisdom, and other commentators have expressed on this website that the Australian government may indeed be ‘gearing up’ for some type of geopolitical conflict to come in the future.
As Gerald Celente constantly reminds his audience: ‘When all else fails, they take you to war’.
Like 100 years ago, destabilisation allow the perfect conditions for the ‘solutions’ to be rolled out.
The military-industrial-complex continues on with their usual games.
And Australia is right at the head of the pack.
