‘STOPPING HARMFUL CONTENT’

Australian parents and carers are being encouraged to “recognise early warning signs” that children and teenagers may be developing ‘harmful beliefs’ about women, relationships, and masculinity, as concerns grow about the influence of online communities promoting what the government describes as ‘misogynistic attitudes’.

Australia’s WEF-puppet eSafety Commissioner has highlighted in an online resource the need for families to understand how young people can encounter content that “reinforces rigid ideas about gender, physical appearance, status, and relationships”.

Some of this material, they say, is associated with the online “manosphere” – a broad term describing internet communities focused on men’s issues and masculinity.

While discussions about fitness, dating, confidence, and self-improvement are not inherently harmful, authorities say concerns arise when these topics are used to ‘normalise sexism’, ‘contempt’, or ‘the belief that certain people are less deserving’.

Potential warning signs the government department has detailed include: ‘Sexist or degrading language’, ‘jokes about sexual violence’, ‘growing resentment towards women’, and ‘the adoption of online slang associated with hostile communities’.

Some young people may also become increasingly preoccupied with physical appearance, or “looksmaxxing” – believing that facial features, height, muscularity, or other characteristics determine their worth and chances of success.

There is no doubt that global influencers like Andrew Tate and Clavicular have helped to shape a generation of young men through the spread of the internet.

The government, who have spent decades trying to kill masculinity in men, divide the sexes against each other, and promote cultural marxism – are not fans of them at all.

I am also not the biggest fan of them either, but I am also a proponent for people being able to think and believe whatever they want. What is this crap?

The government says that although self-improvement and healthy lifestyle choices can be positive, concerns emerge when young people become ‘fixated on appearance’, ‘develop damaging self-perceptions’, or ‘feel pressured to pursue unsafe practices’.

Online ‘safety experts’ have emphasised in this resource the importance of looking at patterns, rather than isolated incidents. A single offensive joke, unfamiliar phrase, or interest in masculinity does not necessarily indicate that a child is adopting ‘harmful beliefs’. For them, context, frequency, and underlying attitudes are more significant.

This, they say, is what parents should look out for.

What an absolute joke.

Much of this smells of online censorship under the surface, rather than genuine care for the wellbeing of young men in Australia – who, again, they are trying to destroy.

Authorities highlight that recommendation systems are helping exposing them to this type of material, presenting ‘extreme views’ as entertainment or common sense.

They say that ‘echo chambers’ then reinforce these messages by offering a sense of belonging, identity, and certainty – which to them, is considered ‘harmful’.

Through this resource, parents are encouraged to approach concerns with curiosity, first asking what a child enjoys about a particular creator or video to “help establish an open conversation and reveal the ideas influencing their thinking”.

They say that ‘clear boundaries remain important’, and ‘sexist abuse’, ‘harassment’, ‘threats’, and ‘the humiliation of others’ “should not be excused as jokes”.

Our eSafety office also warns that “…if hostility becomes persistent, isolation deepens, or threats emerge, parents may need support from school counsellors, mental health professionals, or other appropriate services”.

In this circumstance, the government says Australian families can access advice through the eSafety Commissioner, ReachOut Parents, Headspace, and Kids Helpline.

The absolute last thing that any young boy needs – a shill counsellor spewing nonsense.

They would probably encourage him to chop their genitals off.

We have witnessed the attack on ‘toxic masculinity’ in the mainstream sphere for the better part of a decade now, and each year, the government looks to clamp down on the supposed content that is ‘fuelling these beliefs’ even more.

This is part of the real reason they want to control algorithmic spread of popular content, and why they are building upon social media age verification laws.
