‘Make America Healthy Again’ rolls on.
VACCINE SCHEDULE CUT
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has led a U.S federal government overhaul of the decades-old childhood vaccination schedule, announced formally by health officials on 5 Jan 2026.

The U.S childhood immunisation schedule – the grid of coloured bars paediatricians share with parents – recommends a set of vaccines given from birth through adolescence to ‘prevent a range of serious infections’.
The basic structure has been in place since 1995, when federal health officials and medical organisations first issued a unified national standard, though new vaccines have been added regularly ‘as science advanced’.
Now, that is being reversed on a mass scale for the first time.
As per the announcement, this schedule is now being dismantled. In all, the sweeping change reduces the universally recommended childhood vaccines from 17 to 11.

It moves vaccines against rotavirus, influenza, hepatitis A, hepatitis B and meningococcal disease from routine recommendations to “shared clinical decision-making”. This is a category that shifts responsibility for initiating vaccination from the health care system to individual families, as it should be.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has cast doubt on vaccine safety for decades, justified these changes by citing a 33-page assessment comparing the U.S. schedule to Denmark’s.

Another great push forward by the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, spearheaded by RFK Jr. I had my initial doubts over whether action would be taken to transform decades of medical fraud and scientific deception, and they have surprised me.
Those who partook in this fraud and deception for decades are not impressed.
Major medical organisations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, have said that they will continue recommending the full complement of childhood vaccines
Several states, including California, New York and Illinois, will follow established guidelines rather than the new federal recommendations.
This is fascinating because it will create a patchwork where children’s ‘protection’ depends on where they live.
If you believe the ‘science’ and ‘experts’, these states should perform better. If you trust common sense, they may end up worse off health-wise than others.
Only time will tell.
The national immunisation schedule has been in the U.S for many decades now, and apart from a few removals due to horrid safety concerns, this is the first time things have truly reversed in terms of the number of jab recommendations.
Outside of the political circus, real changes are being made on the health side of things.
THE FIGHT BACK CONTINUES
The current moves stop an ever-increasing vaccine recommendation list in its tracks – one that has been continuously building since the mid-1960s.
In 1964, although vaccines had already been around for a while, the U.S Surgeon General established the first Advisory Committee on Immunisation Practices, or ACIP, to provide guidance and recommendations to the CDC on vaccine use.

For the first time, a single body would evaluate the evidence and issue national vaccine recommendations. However, despite this forming, different medical organisations continued issuing their own – sometimes conflicting – recommendations for decades.
In 1995, ACIP, the American Academy of Paediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians jointly released the first unified childhood immunisation schedule.
Parents and physicians now had a single, national standard.

This was the ancestor of today’s familiar grid, and since then, has never been backtracked on a mass scale.
Until now.
All of these games changed when RFK Jr. was appointed as Health Secretary at the beginning of Trump’s latest term, in a move that seriously ‘ruffled some feathers’.

The MAHA movement has certainly been making waves in terms of transforming America’s health policies – dismantling the status quo in just one year.
These new changes follow the CDC’s decision in December 2025 to drop a long-held recommendation that all newborns be vaccinated against hepatitis B.

It’s not just vaccines, either. Let’s not forget that the FDA is moving forward with plans to ban fluoride supplements nationwide, while RFK Jr. advised the CDC to no longer recommend the neurotoxin in public water supplies.

We have already seen individual states follow the move in the U.S, rallying against vaccination in a post-COVID world – something unimaginable just two decades ago.

Of course, there will still be millions of people that reject the ‘anti-science’ stance of MAHA and continue to get the entire original list of jabs – but the fact any substantial change is being made on an official level is something I didn’t think I would see.
With vaccination rates continuing to fall across the world, including in the United States, those that have woken up to the Big Pharma scam are turning away from them all.
The grip they have on this century-old practice is starting to loosen.

If RFK Jr really IS on our side and curtailing medical tyranny in the US (and not merely controlled opposition as espoused by some SubStackers), I include him in my extended toast this evening to the demise of vax. Most of the NZ vino has gone now as I run through the TOTT News reports. Those mentioning the declining vax rates have raised the spirits of Pixie and me after a trying 43C day in the Adelaide Hills. Michael Gray Griffith and his partner Kelli (Cafe Locked Out) stayed here on the farm last week, and livened things up while here.
It was so hot, the organisers (led by Stuart O’Grady) reduced today’s Tour Down Under stage by ca 40 km, eliminating all three climbs of Willunga Hill) and started an hour early. I plan to attend the final stage in the Stirling/Mylor area tomorrow, which will be somewhat cooler.
