Australia has turned into a welfare state.
GOVERNMENT RELIANCE
It has been revealed that more than half of Australian voters now rely on the government for most of their income — through wages, benefits or subsidies — according to new research by the Centre for Independent Studies (CIS).

CIS economist, Robert Carling, has warned that such widespread dependence has fuelled unsustainable government spending and eroded economic resilience.
In a new paper published on Wednesday, Leviathan on the Rampage, Carling warned that federal spending alone has reached 27.6 per cent of GDP.

“A culture of dependency and entitlement has taken root in the population and political behaviour has become only too willing to accommodate and encourage it in a feedback loop,” writes Robert Carling, author of the paper.
“A vast network of lobby groups and organisations has evolved to safeguard and increase social spending. A large proportion of the population has become dependent on government for a living, either through public sector employment or the spread of social benefits”.
27.6 per cent of GDP is a rise from 24-25 per cent of GDP in 2012-13, and has been fuelled by a “program expansion in social services, defence and debt interest”.

These rapidly expanding programs drive more than 60 per cent of the growth in federal spending since 2012-13, and many argue is no longer sustainable.
For instance, the NDIS has exceeded the entire federal government’s expenditure on defence and will cost taxpayers $52 billion in 2025, compared to $51 billion for defence.
It has been projected to cost more than $64 billion by the end of the decade.
The federal budget has been projected to endure a decade of deficits and surge past $1 trillion of debt, leaving it even harder for future generations to live a good quality of life.

With the rapid expansion of public service jobs and ‘social programs’, more and more Australians are relying entirely on the government for their income – and this is a problem.
Once more than 50 per cent of any given electorate is living off the state, it becomes nearly impossible to implement a swift legislative fix, which is where Australia is now.
“Without a determined reset of expectations, Australia risks sliding into a European-style welfare state — slower growth, higher taxes and a culture where ‘voting for a living’ replaces ‘working for a living’,” Carling argues.
He is absolutely correct.
I used to work for a company that had government contracts for employment services, and the bosses would always tell us, “vote Labour”, fearing that a change in government in Queensland would ‘throw a spanner in the works’.
This is just one example of how government policies, and ultimately the dependence that comes with it, continues to fuel a ‘vote to keep our jobs intact’ mentality.
This is all by design, as the government wants individuals and companies to be as reliant on the state as possible – to make them easier to control under the NWO system.
THE WELFARE STATE
The ‘powers that be’ have their sights set on creating a universal welfare state, as the NWO transition to bring the West further down towards Third World status continues.
These findings detailed above come just days after leaked Treasury advice revealed the Albanese government has been advised to pursue “spending reductions”.
The Treasury said that Treasurer Jim Chalmers would need to find “additional revenue and spending reductions” to ensure a “sustainable budget”.

The welfare state in its existing form, dominated by government financing and provision of payments and services from cradle to grave, is irretrievably broken.
The blossoming of welfare state programs deters private savings and reduces labour supply, and requires increasing taxes to finance them – all of which inhibits economic growth.

Societies characterised by strong family ties and community cohesion increasingly become a feature of the past, as growing numbers of welfare recipients lean on the state, rather than their relatives or neighbours, for assistance.
And with that, comes greater control.

Combine the fact we are steamrolling towards a hyper-surveillance state underpinned by Digital ID and a cashless society, and you can see exactly what the agenda is at play.
More reliance on the state, the more you will do anything they want you to do. Simple.
In addition, it is also about eugenics at the core of the push.
Thomas Malthus, in his book An Essay on the Principle of Population, pointed out the ‘emperor had no clothes’ by discussing the ramifications that limited resources can have.

He writes: “It is an obvious truth, which has been taken notice of by many writers, that population must always be kept down to the level of the means of subsistence…”
Malthus explains that he writes to ensure that governments are better prepared for dealing with large populations, and will take an ‘honest and active approach in handling them’.
It is no wonder as to why Bill Gates and other globalists examine and discuss his works.

Indeed, the parasites that control society want every little good Australian herd animal under their thumb, and income dependence is one effective way to achieve this.
They don’t want strong and independent citizens; they want weak and dependent slaves.
The sooner all Australians know the difference, the better off we will be as a country.

You can see it happening and with such an influx of immigrants no wonder there’s more dependence on govt. it’s time people woke up and looked to get off govt payments by finding work.
Saw this coming years ago. Combined with low T levels in men and the effects of the jabaroo, it does not bode well for freedom in Australia in future. Xavier Herbert, where are you? “Poor fella my country”.
