The future of social interactions?
‘AI COMPANIONS‘
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has embarked on a media blitz promoting his vision of AI companions as a solution to the ‘loneliness epidemic’, claiming the average person has “fewer than three friends” but desires “meaningfully more.”
Zuckerberg believes AI will transform social interactions, with chatbots functioning as friends, therapists and business agents.
“I think people are going to want a system that knows them well and that kind of understands them in the way that their feed algorithms do,” he said at Stripe’s annual conference on Tuesday.

In a podcast with Dwarkesh Patel last week, he argued that “people just don’t have the connections” and “feel more alone a lot of the time than they would like.”
Zuckerberg further elaborated that future social media feeds will become interactive:
“You’ll be scrolling through your feed, and there will be content that maybe looks like a Reel to start, but you can talk to it, or interact with it and it talks back.”
Meta AI, currently accessible via Facebook, Instagram, Ray-Ban smart glasses and a standalone app, has nearly a billion monthly users, he said.
You may be reading this thinking ‘how stupid’, but trust me, this isn’t far-fetched.
‘AI companionship’ has taken off in recent years, and the proof is in the pudding that this poses a great threat to the future of society.
The destruction of the family unit and social engineering of society to adopt cultural marxist promiscuity has morphed younger generations in unprecedented ways.
The ‘loneliness epidemic’ refers to the widespread increase in feelings of loneliness and social isolation in society, particularly impacting individuals’ mental and physical health. This phenomenon has been recognised as a public health issue.

For example, in Japan, some communities show 30% more single men than single women, with many young people stating they have never even dated.

People in Japan can ‘hire a friend’ to hang out with them for the day, with many in this profession making a very decent living to fulfil social starvation of individuals.
Japan, being a culture that has openly adopted advanced technologies into their lives, will be the first country that fully adopts artificial intelligence as companions.
AI-powered chatbots, and soon to be humanoids, will be a ‘solution’ to loneliness – and the West isn’t too far behind with how the male/female dynamic has been morphed.

We have already seen stories, such as recently on 60 Minutes here in Australia, of individuals who have receded into a social life centred around AI personalities.
The ABC recently highlighted how individuals are already choosing AI for things like counselling and psychology over the real professionals.

Indeed, although Zuckerberg’s words may seem silly now, in just a few decades time, this type of mentality will be completely normalised and widespread.
The Rise of the Machines has arrived, ladies and gentlemen.
RISE OF THE MACHINES
Zuckerberg, with the help of the CIA, assisted in destroying social interactions with the launch of their apps like Facebook and Instagram.
Designed as a way to harvest personal information about individuals for free, the psychological addiction most have to these platforms has transformed society.
Now, they are happy to profit off the destruction they have caused.
And, in doing so, will cause even more destruction along the way.
For now, concerns over ‘AI companions’ focus on privacy and psychological impact.
“The more time you spend chatting with an AI ‘friend,’ the more of your personal information you’re giving away,” Robbie Torney, senior director of AI programs at Common Sense Media, recently told Axios.
AI is designed to ‘get to know you’ or ‘your requirements’, and get ‘better’ over time.
University of Sydney business information systems professor, Uri Gal, warned in The Conversation, “When Meta AI says it is ‘built to get to know you,’ we should take it at its word and proceed with appropriate caution.”

Zuckerberg’s push toward ‘AI companions’ also comes amid troubling reports that Meta’s chatbots allegedly engaged in “romantic role-play” with minors.

Stories have also emerged of young teens who have fallen in love with AI chatbots, ultimately taking their lives in hopes of ‘being with them forever’.

Some may believe these personas are just like fictional characters, and that cannot replace human relationships. But I don’t think this is as ‘harmless’ as people imagine.
From ‘AI companions’, to ‘AI agents’, this new revolution of science will be unlike anything we have ever seen, and continues to shake the world up as we speak.
If you would like to learn more about this transformation of society, I recommend checking out my latest feature piece in New Dawn Magazine #210.
Watch this space, ladies and gentlemen.
The future of relationships, friendships, love, and ultimately the future of humanity, is on the path to be fundamentally altered forever. Even more than it already has.
We can’t allow it to happen.
