Pro-choice campaigns continue.
BRISBANE
‘Keeping Up The Pressure’
For the first time since January 2022, the 23rd of April will saw people descend on Brisbane, in a show of awesome unity and strength to remind the so-called leaders they do not buy their deceit.
“THE DROPPING OF THE MANDATES, MEANS NOTHING TO US!”, said organiser Triccy Triddy.
The crowd marched opposed to continued employment mandates that continue to grip industries like aged-care, hospitals and more, and to let their voices be heard ahead of the 2022 Elections.
SINGLETON
‘Rally for the Cali’
Pro-choice protesters came from as far away as Sydney for a rally in Singleton, in support of an Australian flag on the roof of the Caledonian Hotel, organisers say.
The Cali, as it’s known locally, attracted national attention last year over management’s attitudes towards COVID-19 public health orders.
Now The Cali is in trouble again, this time over a large representation of the Australian flag that went up on its roof a few weeks ago.
The council’s acting head of infrastructure and planning services, Damian Morris, said the notice was issued after staff, consulting with the council’s heritage adviser, investigated a complaint from the public.
Because of this decision, a sizeable crowd marches through local streets in support of the establishment.
NEXT NATIONAL EVENT
A unified national event is set to take place next in May — full details can be found below:
