A new Phase 1 trial by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) will be undertaken for a ‘universal’ mRNA influenza vaccine, joining CureVac/GSK and Pfizer/BioNTech in the race to get the ‘all-in-one’ product on the shelves.
