As these challenges continue to change as the world does around us, we have created this platform as a way for the best minds to come together and be prepared to think creatively and divergently to produce innovative and lasting solutions.

This month, we are going to take a look at a few brief ways critically thinking individuals can begin disconnecting from some of the true dangers of the system (fake ones can be found here).

PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE

Since the late 1980s, the concept of precaution has been incorporated into numerous international agreements and laws, as well as in domestic statutes and policies in many countries.

The Precautionary Principle is a strategy to cope with possible risks, where understanding is yet to be complete, or rather suppressed in many of our cases, such as the risks of nano-technology, genetically modified organisms and systemic insecticides.

These interventions are undertaken before harm occurs and are chosen proportional to the seriousness of the potential harm, with consideration of their positive and negative consequences, and with an assessment of the moral implications of both action and inaction.

The choice of any action, or rather any consent, should be the result of a participatory process.

If a threat of serious or irreversible damage to the environment or human health exists, a lack of full knowledge about the situation should not be allowed to delay containment or remedial steps if the balance of potential costs and benefits justifies enacting them.

In other words, prevention is better than a cure, and our detailed feature pieces on these topics — although seen ‘conspiratorial’ in nature, take into account these important premises.

EMF PROTECTION

Look out for your most important muscle.

The first important topic to address is the unknown advancement of EMF technologies and devices.

Exposure guidelines in Australia only take account of thermal effects on our body and don’t account for mobile phones and devices that exceed the guidelines or are near the body.

Now, consider that every wireless device is actually a two-way microwave radio that sends and receives a type of non-ionising electromagnetic radiation — man-made and millions of times higher than the natural electromagnetic fields our grandparents were exposed to.

‘Evil depopulation agenda’ aside, research shows that at a bare minimum, radiofrequency and electromagnetic field exposure decreases REM sleep, effects brain activity, alters circadian rhythms, and results in sleep related cognitive changes.

This is important because a relationship exists between sleep-related problems and psychosocial issues effecting attention, hyperactivity, oppositional and aggressive behaviour and anxiety.

Furthermore, many sleep-related problems are linked to characteristics that are important factors in the development of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Indeed, sleep is a time when the brain cleans out toxins accumulated during the day, and reducing wireless exposures will lead to a healthier deep sleep and allow more time for your brain to detox.

Several studies (Poulletier de Gannes et al., 2017, Nittby 2009, Nittby 2008, Eberhardt 2008, Persson 2008) have consistently reported increased blood-brain barrier permeability after exposure to EMF, and doctors use waves for these techniques when conducting brain surgeries.

Ensuring a healthy sleep is one of the most powerful steps we can take to prevent illness and protect our family and individual health and wellbeing, and a number of EMF blocking technologies are available to help restore the brain’s sleep activity to full potential.

You can also switch off your WiFi router when it is not being used, put your phone away from you when sleeping or on airplane mode if it must be near you, avoid spending extended time in locations with high levels of EMF consumption (such as airports) and do not let children play with them.

AVOIDING ENDOCRINE DISRUPTION

A number of substances in the world around us have been proven to effect human endocrine systems, and when ingested, absorbed or inhaled into the body, toxins interfere with the production, action and elimination of our naturally present hormones.

Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) are substances in the environment (air, soil or water supply), food sources, personal care products and manufactured products.

EDCs are mostly man made, and are found in various materials, such as pesticides, metals, additives or contaminants in food and personal care products.

A variety of chemicals have been found to disrupt the endocrine systems of animals in laboratory studies, and there is strong evidence that chemical exposure has been associated with adverse developmental and reproductive effects on humans and wildlife in particular locations.

The European Commission has recently launched the world’s first system for classifying and banning endocrine disrupting chemicals, against a barrage of criticism from scientists, NGOs, industry and consumer groups.

A number of negative effects can occur due to the exposure of these chemicals, such as a variety of health impacts, including documented side effects across the planet:

Alterations in sperm quality and fertility
Abnormalities in sex organs
Endometriosis
Early puberty
Altered nervous system function
Immune function
Certain cancers
Respiratory problems
Metabolic issues
Diabetes
Obesity
Cardiovascular problems
Growth problems
Neurological and learning disabilities

Understanding these dangers, what are a few tips the every day person can incorporate to reduce exposure to harmful chemical disruptors?

Buy and eat organic produce and free-range
Avoid dairy that contains genetically engineered growth hormones
Avoid eating conventional or farm-raised fish, often contaminated with PCBs and mercury
Buy products that come in glass bottles or jars, rather than plastic or canned
Store your food and beverages in glass, rather than plastic, and avoid using plastic wrap
Use glass baby bottles and avoid plastic sippy cups for your little ones
Processed, prepackaged foods are a common source of chemicals, such as BPA
Replace your non-stick pots and pans with ceramic or glass cookware
Filter your tap water for drinking and bathing
Look for products that are made by companies that are earth-friendly
Use a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to remove house dust
When buying furniture, mattresses or carpet, ask what type of fire retardant it contains
Avoid stain and water-resistant clothing, furniture and carpets to avoid PCFs
Minimize your use of plastic baby and child toys
Only use natural cleaning products in your home or make your own
Switch to organic toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, antiperspirants and cosmetics
Replace feminine hygiene products like tampons and sanitary pads with safer alternatives
Avoid artificial air fresheners, dryer sheets, fabric softeners or other synthetic fragrances
Look for products that are fragrance-free, as they contain thousands of toxic chemicals
Replace your vinyl shower curtain with one made of fabric.

These conscientious moves about your daily habits will help protect you from the dangers of endocrine disruption.

TECHNOLOGY AND PRIVACY

After using the precautionary principle to navigate the lie system, combined with a proactive approach to protect yourself from both EMF and endocrine disruptors, technology is the next focus.

The way we live our daily lives has changed significantly in the last decade. By transferring so many of our daily tasks and interactions to the digital realm, we’ve created a detailed digital footprint of our lives. Digital technologies make a virtue of sharing, but we are all sharing far too much online.

No doubt, advancing technologies have significantly improved the world, making business tasks, life projects and human connectivity more advanced than ever.

At the same time, the ability of governments and companies to keep activities under surveillance has never been greater, as slick algorithms depend on data and creeping authoritarianism around the world means that the collection of vast quantities may be a recipe for disaster.

Whether most of us are aware of it or not, we tell our devices a lot about ourselves. Many of the conversations or actions we assumed were private can be monitored, broadcast, collected or stored in ways that violate what we want to keep private.

The time is now to get serious about protecting online privacy. This can be done by:

Reviewing and securing your social media accounts.
Changing your passwords on all other accounts.
Using an Encrypted Operating System. It’s referred to as Full Disk Encryption on Windows 10, and File Vault on Mac OS.
Getting smart about smart device security.
Cutting back on data sharing. Don’t be so agreeable when filling out forms online.
Don’t use public computers.
Don’t use free Wi-Fi.
Use a VPN whenever you’re online.
Looking into encryption programs.
Avoid online scams and suspect people.

SUSTAINABILITY AND INDEPENDENCE

Growing your own food is the only way to go.

For those looking to take it a step further, living ‘off-grid’ has also now transformed from an obscure and unknown way of life, to a growing trend in the age of technological advancements.

In the days before the invention of mobile phones, living off grid represented significant social isolation, traditionally meaning no connection to power, water or telephone.

In the 21^st century, however, living off the grid is a lifestyle choice that can be remarkably comfortable and incredibly rewarding for those looking to do it.

We can access solar, wind, and/or hydro power, store it in batteries for later use, and develop truly sustainable independent ecosystems inside of our own environment with technology. Today:

Water storage tanks are larger, lighter, and easier to install than concrete or metal tanks.
Composting toilets are much less trouble than old-fashioned septics.
Satellite and wireless technology allows us to communicate with the world.
An understanding of insulation and design can reduce our need for heating and cooling.

As an increasing number of people choose to pursue off-grid lifestyles, it is interesting to note that even homes connected to community power and water supplies are beginning to embrace off-grid technology, including passive solar home design, solar hot water, and solar cooking.

You can become even more self-sufficient by growing a vegetable garden. Depending on your location, you could also consider fruit trees to supplement your growing. Consider livestock as well.

Chickens are easy to keep and will provide you with eggs, while rabbits are another favorite off-grid small farm animal: they breed quickly and yield meat, and are very easy to raise.

Chickens can also eat garden pests and animal dung can be turned into fertilizer, just as waste plant matter can be composted to add more nutrients to your soil.

Living off the grid in Australia is a choice many people truly love. This lifestyle creates a true sense of freedom and liberation unlike anything else in the world.

If you’re ready to work hard and make some true changes in what life is like for you, then you’ll marvel at how this change can make a positive impact on your life.

THE FIRST STEP

In the end, the most important thing we can all do on this quest is question everything, and I mean everything. We are human, and humans second-guess, they doubt, they get confused and lost. If you find yourself lost, my suggestion is to doubt your doubts.

The difference between normal thinkers and independent thinkers is that when we begin to have doubts, we don’t immediately latch onto those doubts and assume that the current direction is wrong. Instead, they look at their doubts critically and moves on from them, right or wrong.

For the slave, despite the innocent facade he displays with his herd morality and calls for equality, does not desire to change the world for the better.

This is what has led to the continued dehumanization of humanity, and driven by ressentiment and envy, the slave seeks to gain social and political power for the purpose of provoking destruction as compensation for his own personal impotencies and failures.

The true mark a good leader, or a good team member, is the ability to allow everyone to think independently and eventually arrive at individually correct, though different, solutions.

Please start thinking like a independent person. The only consequence is a more fulfilling life, a positive outlook on the world; you’ll be happier as a result and less anxious about what the future lies, as we enter a period of uncertainty and change.
